The Marketing Manager at FlexXray will oversee marketing initiatives aimed at increasing brand awareness in the food manufacturing sector while collaborating with sales and enhancing customer interactions.

FlexXray is the leading provider of x-ray inspection services. We assist leading food manufacturers with regulatory compliance and food safety issues by identifying and removing foreign contaminants from their products.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on marketing campaigns that helps grow our awareness in the food manufacturing industry.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing and Commercial Operations Manager, as well as with your counterparts within the sales organization, to align on strategy and execute on campaigns. You will need to be comfortable working in a small organization with lots of autonomy and be excited to help grow existing programs while also testing out new ideas.
This role is perfect for a multi-disciplinary marketer and will involve working across a range of different marketing programs – from developing thought leadership content to sales initiatives/account-based marketing.
FlexXray is the dominant player in our space but there’s still ample room for growth and we’re looking for marketing to play a role in getting us to our ambitious goals.


Key Responsibilities


  • Translates revenue strategies into marketing campaigns that help generate qualified opportunities for the company’s sellers.
  • Develops and distributes marketing content that helps better educate the company’s audience on the challenges the company solves, positioning the company as an expert of foreign material contamination.
  • Works closely with the sales team to promote company presence at key tradeshows and events throughout the year.
  • Work with marketing agencies to produce creative and campaign assets and runs point on strategy for putting them into the market.
  • Helps to build on the company’s successful Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy to expand the company’s footprint within key enterprise accounts.
  • Grows the organization’s social networking presence via the company's social media sites.
  • Enhances and updates the company's website with meaningful, up-to-date content and design.
  • Responds to social media and website messages.
  • Initiates market research studies as needed and communicates results to management (e.g. industry trends, community needs, competitors)
  • Coordinates company events to help promote the organization and celebrate organizational milestones.
  • Meets with key stakeholder groups and organizations to promote the mission and increase community presence and goodwill.
  • Builds reports to shows campaign results and explains business impact.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by upper management.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
  • Specialized Training/Certifications/Licenses:
  • Marketing Certifications a plus


Experience:
  • 5+ years of growth marketing, campaign, or demand generation role.
  • Experience marketing to a scientific or manufacturing audience is a plus.


  • Knowledge:
    • Solid understanding of CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot)

FlexXray inspects finished food products for all types of contaminants. We can detect most foreign material down to 0.8 mm or smaller and test for metal, bone, rubber, plastic, gasket material, stones, glass, wood and other foreign material.

Foreign material contamination is a prevalent risk—one of the top three leading causes of food recalls in the United States—and if you aren’t planning accordingly, it’ll quickly turn into an issue that can impact your ability to meet customer needs and production quotas, place a strain on current raw ingredients supply and create a range of other issues.

We use customized processes and state-of-the-art X-ray technology to find foreign material contaminants in food, beverage and lifestyle products. The types of contaminants we’re able to find include Metal, Glass Particle, Stone, Bone, Plastic, Rubber Casket Material, Wood, and more.
