The role you’ll contribute:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for, in conjunction with their leader, developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for assigned service lines – annually, quarterly, and ongoing. In collaboration with service line leadership, physicians, and other stakeholders, partners to deliver strategic and effective marketing campaigns and programs to meet goals of volume, market share and other metrics. Leads the development and execution of marketing plans while meeting budget parameters and providing return on investment metrics and reporting for programs.
This position is responsible for managing day-to-day consumer volume-driving activities as well as the advertising strategies and tactics to grow the brand, patient loyalty and service line volumes for the hospital and county. The position develops consumer volume-driving tactics and brand messaging to build consumer loyalty through various communication vehicles such as print, direct mail, outdoor, radio, sports marketing, digital media platforms, collateral and special events. Coordinates advertising strategies and tactics to competitively differentiate, build market preference and grow market share through the hospital’s branded services.
In collaboration with marketing leadership and other marketing team members, oversees messaging, design, creative execution and production of all marketing communication materials and facilitates necessary approvals on all materials. This position works closely with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, digital media, media relations, community relations, service line teams, physicians, physician liaisons, nurses, administration and internal communications. Position also has a strong tie to the business development team members, service line business and nursing leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure volume and program goals are met and any issues affecting marketability are properly escalated and resolved.

- In conjunction with he marketing leader, oversees the development and execution of strategic marketing plans for assigned hospital service lines to support growth, brand development and other key business goals. Develops strategic vision and implementation of marketing and business development plans to meet established volume and market share goals for the hospital. Develops plans to meet goals with tracking mechanisms to ensure success.
- In collaboration with marketing leadership, develops and manages the marketing operating budget for assigned service lines.
- Serves as a leader in working knowledge of the competitive landscape for assigned service lines. Maintains a strong working knowledge of competitors, technology and new physicians in the market. Communicates updates on regular basis to marketing and other stakeholders.
- Has a strong understanding of market research related to assigned service lines. Works closely with market research and service line leadership teams on market analysis and reporting to support marketing strategy development and maintaining competitor, consumer and physician information.
- Responsible for creation and development of content for program/service line through use of creative briefs including background, research information, design look and feel, content and copy, timelines and deadline management and graphic content.
- Develops key messaging and collaborates with division creative services team for creative execution. Oversees the creation and production of all marketing communication materials and facilitates necessary approvals on all materials. Ensures compliance on all marketing materials and internal initiatives.
- Develops and maintains detailed marketing plans and flight plans for respective areas.
- Responsible for the development of web and social media content strategy as it relates to assigned service lines.
- Responsible for leading event planning including: development of event vision, staffing, catering, venue, internal event team coordination, and ROI. Collaborates with marketing team members to execute.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Five or more years of experience and proven track record in strategic and integrated marketing communications that includes strategic marketing and planning, advertising and promotional plans, agency relationships and working with a creative development process
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Healthcare Administration or related field.
- Valid Florida driver’s license
