Marketing Manager - 95% Remote
LOCATION
Hybrid remote in Orlando, FL 32806 (must be located in Orlando, FL or within a 2-hour drive)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree, 10+ years of marketing experience, 5+ years managing small teams, proven interpersonal and communication skills, experience in BtoG, BtoEnterprise or BtoB marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead marketing activities, manage a small team, develop and implement marketing strategies, drive lead generation, create joint marketing content with strategic partners, support sales initiatives, and manage effective digital marketing campaigns.
INDUSTRY

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Marketing Lead to oversee all marketing activities, lead a small team, and collaborate on joint marketing initiatives, focusing on lead generation and communications with government customers.
Job Summary
Candidate will lead all marketing activities for the company including lead generation, external communications and content creation. In addition, candidate will be the main PoC for joint marketing activity with our major strategic partnerships.
Candidate should expect to lead a team of 2-3 individuals, while also being a direct contributor to marketing activities until such time (and if) the team grows to a point a full time management position is appropriate.
Candidate will report to the COO, with the expectation the position will eventually report to a future CRO if we hire for this role in the future (no expectation anytime soon).
Requirements (Must Have):
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
- 10+ years Marketing experience
- 5+ years experience managing small teams
- Proven Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Experience with BtoG, if not BtoG then a must at BtoEnterprise or BtoB
- Must be located in Orlando, FL or within a 2 hour drive of the office and willing to come to the office on an as needed, infrequent basis.
Desired Skills, Candidate has Experience with:
- Planning and implementing marketing strategy, including creating and managing the highest quality digital and physical assets, tradeshow presence and new business/customer events.
- Development of channel strategies for effective outreach to drive lead generation.
a. Partner with internal sales management for organic growth initiatives
b. Partner with internal leadership responsible for flagship channel and strategic partners to create joint marketing content, campaigns and strategies that align internal marcomm to strategic partner initiatives
- Technical writing for marketing collateral development
- Driving marketing initiatives and promotions with government customers (Public Safety, Federal, and light Defense) and adjacent commercial segments.
- Creating and maintaining high impact communication cadence with existing and potential customers.
- Managing effective, targeted digital marketing campaigns for lead generation and brand awareness, to include social media campaigns, e-blasts, and SEO techniques.
- Providing strong collaborative support for sales field activities, sales management and the product teams, including CRM support.
- Developing successful marketing campaigns for SaaS based product to include activities for new sales activity, expansion of existing accounts and customer retention.
- Agile marketing production including management of the internal scrum process to manage deadlines and marketing velocity
- Implementation of successful AI integration for efficiency improvement within the marketing department
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
