SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking an experienced Channels Marketing Manager to drive strategy and delivery of traffic marketing for US Consumer Electronics, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience running and optimizing social media (organic/paid) and/or influencer campaigns
- Bachelor’s Degree

As the Channels Marketing Manager (MM), you will partner with central teams to lead end-to-end strategic planning and delivery of both evergreen and event traffic campaigns on onsite (e.g. Amazon Homepage, search, detail page), offsite (e.g. Paid Social, Influencers), and outbound (e.g. email, push notifications) channels. You will develop CE's traffic channel strategy and calendar, lead the operational plan, and work with partner teams to execute campaigns and report out on performance metrics and learnings. You will also work closely with product managers, tech, and BI teams to drive technical enhancements in our tools and systems used for channel reporting. This position will require you to understand customer and vendor needs, collaborate with and influence stakeholders, and demonstrate a significant level of independent thought, an ability to embrace ambiguity, and a passion to invent and simplify and drive process efficiency. The ideal candidate will be customer obsessed, have the ability to think creatively, have a data-driven mindset, and challenge the status quo.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and document CE's traffic strategy and calendar for offsite, outbound, and onsite channels, and obtain alignment from CE leadership and partner team stakeholders.
- Develop and document CE's business goals and performance reporting for offsite, outbound, and onsite channels, and reiterate strategy based on past performance.
- Partner with central teams to execute impactful campaigns that resonate with CE customers and achieve CE business goals.
- Make data-driven decisions, ensuring marketing and traffic strategies across all channels optimize for efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with creative teams to select and surface relevant and consistent graphics in campaigns.
- Develop mechanisms to communicate proactively and effectively with partner teams, CE categories, and senior leadership.
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
- Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
- Demonstrable history of defining marketing strategy and executional excellence
- Strong design sensibility; ability to manage shaping/driving of customer perception and behavior with compelling concepts and art direction

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
