SHORT DESCRIPTION

The B2B Marketing Manager will drive growth for Aventon products, enhancing partnerships within the cycling and sporting goods community while supporting the sales team in achieving strategic objectives.

The Role:
The B2B Marketing Manager contributes to a team of B2B Representatives that implements marketing strategies, provides community engagement and product training, and generates revenue on the B2B side of our business. In this role, you will support the B2B sales team in executing the monthly, quarterly, and annual strategic growth initiatives for Aventon products. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn the Aventon brand product line
  • Re-enforce dedication to partnerships with bike shops, outdoor brands, and sporting goods stores; maintain partner relationships
  • Provide written communication to Aventon partners, providing insights into products and promotions
  • Own B2B partner portal merchandising strategies
  • Collaborate with Aventon marketing, creative and product development divisions
  • Own partner feedback. Focused on the engagement of B2B partners
  • Understand, anticipate, and communicate the strategies of Aventon to B2B partners
  • Responsible for ensuring monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue goals
  • Partner with the B2B reps and support them in solving problems with onsite partners
  • Provide ongoing training to the B2B Reps and ensure product knowledge and sales tactics - LMS, webinars, on-site training, etc
  • Provide regional event support - product training, process training, and community engagement

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a sales/marketing professional generating multi-million dollars in revenue; sales within the mobility/sports goods space are highly preferred
  • Experience leading and growing revenue of B2B division
  • Motivated self-starter who will be proactive in finding new partners, growing the team, and generating revenue for the company
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail (spelling, grammar) is a must.
  • Excellent verbal communication, ample time will be spent training both internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel for Bike Shop Visits, Trade Shows, Industry Events, etc. (Travel about 40% of the time)
  • Demonstrate follow-through and ability to accomplish initiatives
  • “Can do” attitude and problem-solving skills
