We are currently seeking candidates to join our exceptional team for the following position:

Job Title: Community Relations & Communications Manager
Location: Main Office

Position Summary: Plans, coordinates and administers all marketing and advertising campaigns for the Bank. Assists the Director of Marketing with the management and daily oversight of the Marketing Department. Manages, coaches, and evaluates job performance of department staff to ensure effective performance, excellent service, and strong employee engagement.

Essential Functions:

  • Consistently provides superior professional service to internal and external customers.
  • Consistently meet expectations of teamwork, punctuality and regular, reliable attendance.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Vice President/Director of Marketing, develops, coordinates, monitors and measures marketing initiatives that have been laid out in the annual marketing plan.
  • Effectively performs in the area of employee management and development through conducting regular staff meetings; monitoring staffing levels; demonstrating strong communication, coaching, and training of staff; conducting performance evaluations; focusing on staff development; and ensuring employee engagement.
  • Protects and evolves the Florence bank brand.
  • Works with the Senior Vice President/Director of Marketing to develop and manage the budget.
  • Oversees the department in the absence of the Director of Marketing. Manages the Communications Manager.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of the annual Digital Marketing Plan.
  • Is the primary liaison and responsible for managing the relationship with the Bank’s Digital Agency.
  • Manages the Bank’s digital brand presence on the Internet, including content and design of the Bank’s website.
  • Ensures compliance of website content and digital advertising with state and federal regulations.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing Research Analyst, develops, coordinates, and executes the Bank’s onboarding and nurturing programs.
  • Oversees the implementation and strategy of the Bank’s social media presence.
  • Identifies and develops electronic marketing opportunities by continually monitoring and evaluating marketing technology and web analytics for feasibility of adoption and implementation of new strategies.
  • Manages and oversees the content and design of the Bank’s ATM screens, online banking messaging and digital signage within the branch network.
  • Oversees the design, creation, development and updating of all branded sales and merchandising to include brochures, indoor and outdoor branch signage and sales materials.
  • Participates in the design of the physical brand including new branch design, ATM surrounds and other tangible brand elements within the Bank’s branch network.
  • Plans, designs and implements all email marketing campaigns.
  • Presents to the Executive Committee, as needed, to describe new digital initiatives and interprets the performance of digital marketing efforts.
  • Marketing team member involved in Corporate and Division projects as assigned.
  • Participates and represents the Marketing Department on various committees as requested including the Technology Committee.
  • Represents the Bank in a positive way by being involved in Bank sponsored community and charitable events.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to personal and professional development.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with marketing technology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing plans.
