Range Start: $74,276.80/annually

Range End: $115,128.00/annually

SUPERVISES: All Players Club, Promotions, and Creative Department team members

JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive guest engagement, brand awareness, and revenue growth for the Resort & Casino. This role involves working closely with various departments to create targeted campaigns, promotions, and events that enhance the guest experience and promote the Casinos offerings. The Marketing Manager will manage a team, oversee budgets, and analyze marketing performance to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
    • Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans that support the Casino's goals and objectives.
    • Develop promotional campaigns to attract new guests and retain existing guests, including loyalty programs, events, and special offers.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (gaming, food & beverage, hotel, entertainment) to deliver integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Brand Management:
    • Ensure the Casino brand is consistently represented across all marketing channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
    • Lead creative direction for advertisements, promotional materials, and digital assets.
    • Monitor brand performance and identify opportunities for improvement or new market positioning.
  • Digital and Social Media Marketing:
    • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO (search engine optimization)/SEM (search engine marketing), email marketing, and social media campaigns.
    • Manage the Casinos social media presence, creating engaging content and promoting promotions or events.
    • Analyze digital marketing performance and adjust strategies to maximize online engagement and conversions.
  • Guest Engagement and Retention:
    • Develop strategies to improve guest retention and enhance guest loyalty through targeted communications and loyalty program initiatives.
    • Organize and manage guest outreach through various channels, including email, TV, Streaming, radio and direct mail.
    • Monitor guest satisfaction and gather feedback to inform marketing strategies and guest experience improvements.
  • Event Planning and Promotions:
    • Plan and oversee the Casino events, promotions, and tournaments that align with guest interests and business objectives.
    • Work with the events team to ensure seamless execution of large-scale events, including logistics, advertising, and post-event follow-up.
    • Manage seasonal campaigns and special promotions aimed at increasing visitation and engagement.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to understand guest trends, preferences, and behavior, as well as competitor activities.
    • Analyze marketing data, track KPIs, (key performance indicators) and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
    • Utilize data insights to refine strategies and develop actionable recommendations to enhance business performance.
  • Team Management and Leadership:
    • Lead, train, and mentor the marketing team to achieve department objectives and promote a collaborative working environment.
    • Manage marketing department budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently across various campaigns.
    • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Compliance and Regulations:
    • Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns comply with relevant MICS, regulations, and industry standards, including those specific to the gaming industry.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Casino marketing regulations, such as responsible gambling messages and advertising restrictions.
  • Maintains monthly and quarterly reports on gaming by player card members for Players club, hosted players, promotions, social media and creative.
  • Coordinates direct mail operations with external firms and analyzes direct mail investment.
  • Responsible for dealing with vendors, guests, and employees on players club and rewards program issues.
  • Coordinates with Team Member Relations on the hiring, termination, advancement, promotion or any other change of employment status of subordinates.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of five (5) years of marketing/promotional or related progressive experience is required.
  • A strong understanding of the principles and practices of team member supervision, along with a strong combination of written and verbal communication skills to write, read, and comprehend written correspondence, concurrent with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members of the organization is required.
  • The ability to perform their job functions in an atmosphere where priorities and deadlines may change frequently is required.
  • Strong computer skills, concurrent with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and online accounting systems is preferred.
