Job Summary

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading Business-to-Consumer (BTC) marketing efforts. This role combines brand development, customer engagement, and strategic partnership management to foster growth and ensure operational alignment. You will be tasked with driving customer acquisition and retention through integrated campaigns while also managing relationships with key external partners like healthcare providers, brokers, and other organizations. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with Sales, Call Center, Retention, and other internal teams to align marketing strategies with organizational goals.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports but will require a high level of collaboration across the company.


Duties and Responsibilities

Business-to-Consumer (BTC) Responsibilities

Campaign Development & Execution:

  • Design and implement customer-focused marketing campaigns across digital channels (email, social media, digital ads, content creation) aimed at driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.

Customer Engagement:

  • Manage customer engagement strategies, including email marketing, loyalty programs, and social media interactions to enhance customer experience and lifetime value.

Content Creation:

  • Develop and distribute relevant marketing content, including blogs, newsletters, case studies, and digital assets, tailored to the needs of the consumer audience.

Analytics & Performance Tracking:

  • Track and measure the performance of BTC campaigns (e.g., lead generation, conversion rates, ROI), adjusting strategies as needed to meet business goals.

Community Outreach & Enrollment Fairs:

  • Organize and promote enrollment fairs, health fairs, and other community outreach events focused on Medicare and ACA plan enrollment, assisting potential clients, and increasing community presence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Strategic Partnerships:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key partners, including healthcare providers, insurance brokers, and community organizations, to foster business growth and strategic collaborations.

Cross-Functional Responsibilities:

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Sales, Call Center, Retention, HR, and other internal teams to ensure alignment in the execution of marketing strategies and business initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Decisions:
  • Utilize analytics and insights to drive decision-making, optimizing both BTC and BTB marketing efforts for improved performance.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately across BTC and BTB initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

BTC KPIs:

  • Customer acquisition and conversion rates.
  • Engagement metrics (email open rates, click-through rates, social media interactions).
  • ROI on digital campaigns.
  • Retention and repeat customer metrics.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred.
  • Sales and/or marketing experience
  • Computer and internet proficiency, especially proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of multiple phone devices and platforms
  • Proficient communication in English (verbal and written); excellent grammar and spelling; some occasional domestic travel may be required for insurance industry events.
  • Experience working with a CRM (Customer Relations Management system)
