Marketing Operations Intern
LOCATION

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent, enrolled in a four-year degree program (preferably in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, or MIS), six months of experience in Marketing or Warehouse Operations, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and must live within the Oklahoma City Metro.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support marketing operations, pick, pack, and ship orders, track shipments, inspect inbound shipments, assist in processing invoices and marketing paperwork, maintain a clean work environment, adhere to safety rules, and perform related duties as assigned.

Marketing Operations Intern Purpose
This internship opportunity is related to Kirby-Smith Marketing Department Operations, which includes corporate store logistics and fulfillment, vendor cooperative marketing programs, and marketing administrative tasks.
Marketing Operations Intern Essential Functions
- Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal
- Actively learns/participates within Kirby-Smith Machinery's marketing operations environment.
- Picks, pulls, packs, and ships marketing store orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Tracks shipments and freight charges via the internet
- Unloads delivery trucks
- Accurately counts, receives, and stocks inventory
- Inspects inbound shipments for defects or damages
- Picks up and delivers as directed; maintains accurate records of transport and obtains necessary signatures
- Assists in processing department invoices
- Assist in processing cooperative marketing program paperwork
- Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adheres to all safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Acts professionally in all interactions and communications with customers and employees
- Consistent and reliable on-site attendance
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Marketing Operations Intern Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be enrolled in a four-year degree program-preferred majors include Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, MIS, or similar
- Six (6) months experience in Marketing or Warehouse Operation
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
- Creative thinker offering innovative and out-of-the-box solutions to complex problems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications
- Must live within the Oklahoma City Metro
Marketing Operations Intern Physical Requirements
- Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
- Seeing, hearing, touching, and color perception
- Drive locally and sit for long periods
