SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Marketing & PR Coordinator will support marketing, public relations, and wholesale efforts for Austin | Fowler, a high-end brand specializing in women’s travel and work bags.

The Marketing & PR Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving Austin | Fowler’s marketing, public relations, strategic partnerships, and wholesale efforts. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll work closely with the founder and a small team to execute campaigns, secure strategic partners, and grow wholesale accounts while assisting in the planning and execution of brand events.


This part-time position is 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 8am and 5pm CST.

Compensation:

$19 - $21 hourly

Responsibilities:

Marketing:

Create and manage marketing campaigns across email, social media, and other channels.

Collaborate with the team to develop engaging content, including blog posts, newsletters, and social media updates.

Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies for optimal results.


Public Relations:

Develop and execute PR strategies to increase brand visibility.

Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and story angles to secure coverage in key publications and outlets.

Manage gifting initiatives to influencers and media contacts.


Wholesale Outreach:

Research and identify potential wholesale partners, including boutiques and corporate clients.

Craft compelling sales pitches and presentations.

Maintain relationships with existing wholesale accounts, ensuring top-tier customer service.


Event Coordination:

Assist in planning and executing in-person and virtual events, including personal shopping appointments, pop-ups, and collaborative partnerships.

Manage event logistics, including setup, marketing, and post-event follow-up.


Administrative Support:

Maintain a calendar of marketing, PR, and wholesale activities.

Organize and track PR and marketing materials.

Support day-to-day operations as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, PR, or sales roles (internships count!).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Google Workspace, and social media management platforms.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Passion for fashion, organization, and women’s lifestyle brands.
