QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, minimum of two years’ experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing in senior living or healthcare, strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, current First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.

The Director of Community Relations is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of internal and external sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed census projections, and create a positive brand for Sage Life.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

- Achieve sales, marketing, and census objectives by creating and implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing plan, and measuring performance against the plan.
- Demonstrate excellent sales skills through establishing and maintaining client relationships, discovery of resident’s (and their families’) needs and desires, and implementing closing and post-sales activities.
- Ensure that all inquiries and tours are conducted in a manner that reflects the Sage Way and enables potential residents and their families to observe the unique hospitality and personalized services of the community.
- Develop external business network to generate sales through sales calls, networking, event hosting, and attending community events.
- Serve as community spokesperson to media and local communities, and act as resident expert on aging related issues.
- Complete and maintain database of all potential residents and referral contacts, including documentation of all completed and scheduled sales activities, so that routine, accurate and timely sales performance reports are available to the Executive Team.
- Conduct relevant market research and monitor trends including competitor analysis to achieve sales.
- Manage marketing budgets to include coordination and oversight of sales materials, web site activity and all promotional efforts.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining brand consistency and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of two years’ experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing in a senior living or relevant healthcare related field.
Skills:
Demonstrated leadership, organizational and computer skills, and strong interpersonal and communications skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Experience maintaining and managing a sales and marketing database.
Able to naturally engage with families, residents, leadership team, and employees—with an approachable attitude, assertive posture and open demeanor.
Licensures and Certifications:
Current First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and stoop as needed.
Able to walk up/down up to four flights of stairs.
Able to carry out responsibilities according to company or state guidelines and with limited or no supervision.
