QUALIFICATIONS
B.S. or B.A. Degree in Graphic Design or Marketing, 2+ years of experience in promotional marketing activities, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), website CRM experience (WordPress), and proficiency in Microsoft Office and web analytics.

Develop and implement marketing and advertising campaigns, coordinate events such as trade shows and seminars, manage promotional materials, research competitor activities, maintain website content, create marketing collateral, and monitor marketing spending within budget.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The position involves creating and delivering integrated marketing strategies to promote products and enhance the company’s web presence, while managing various marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To actively participate in the creation of delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy. To market products and company by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; maintaining and enhancing web presence; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings and trade shows; tracking marketing spending throughout the year within budgeted guidelines.
PRIMARY DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations.
- Coordinate events including meetings, speaking engagements, seminars, trade shows and exhibits.
- Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics suppliers; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Engaging the trade journals, reviewing competitor web sites, and seeing how competitors position themselves in the market.
- If required, work with outside web page developers in keeping company website current with available technology.
- Collaborate with IT to maintain company website for content and security.
- Work with outside agencies, trade groups and exhibition managers to develop promotions, promotional materials, and trade show presence to meet sales goals.
- Solid working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
- Create marketing collateral, including white papers and technical papers.
- Develop and maintain marketing literature, ensuring valid, current, and accurate content.
- Review and edit translated technical documents for English grammar and readability.
- Maintain advertising contacts.
- Maintain and Update SharePoint Website for Internal Communications

- Design, negotiate, and buy advertising in trade print and digital media.
- Monitor spending within budgeted limits.
- Manage the production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying and checking copy.
- Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and emails.
- Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors.
- Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- If required, plan, conduct or assist in product training and sales seminars.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
- Research to identify clients, sector opportunities and competition.
- Maintain open communications between all Teikoku USA disciplines and parent company.
- Ability to handle and manage change.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Valid driver's license to travel, unaccompanied, to trade shows, customer facilities and sales channel organizations.
- Ability to travel, unaccompanied, on all commercial means of transportation to trade shows, customer facilities and sales channel organizations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- B.S. or B.A. Degree in Graphic Design or Marketing.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Website CRM experience, specifically Wordpress.
- Knowledge of English grammar and editing.
- At least two (2) years’ experience interacting with sales channel partners and technical OEM and end-user customers through written, telephone, and personal contact.
- Experience in promotional marketing activities is a requirement for the position. A high degree of planning and organizational skills is required.
- Superior computer operation skills are required, including proficiency with application software based in Microsoft Office, web analytics and commercially available creative print and media software.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to navigate facility. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use.
Occasional lifting to 25 pounds.
