Role Overview:
We’re seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist with proven experience in the home improvement sector and a strong track record in both B2C and B2B marketing. In this role, you’ll be responsible for accelerating our lead generation, elevating our social media presence, boosting brand awareness, and crafting integrated marketing campaigns that speak to both nationwide and local franchise audiences.
You’ll work closely with our leadership team to define and implement strategies that deliver measurable results. As we grow, this position offers a clear pathway to leadership roles within the department—potentially evolving into a Marketing Director and eventually a Chief Marketing Officer role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to attract and convert high-quality leads through multiple channels, including digital ads, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and referral programs.
- Social Media & Engagement: Grow our social media following and drive meaningful engagement with compelling content, influencer partnerships, and community-building initiatives.
- Brand Awareness & Positioning: Collaborate on national brand campaigns while tailoring localized efforts for our franchise partners, ensuring a cohesive brand story across all touchpoints.
- B2C & B2B Campaigns: Leverage home improvement industry insights to craft campaigns that resonate with both consumers and professional partners, driving sales and strengthening market position.
- Data-Driven Marketing: Use analytics and reporting tools to measure ROI, refine targeting strategies, and continuously optimize marketing spend.
- Creative Content Development: Work with internal and external creative resources to produce engaging, on-brand content—videos, blogs, infographics, case studies—that captures audience attention and communicates our value proposition.
- Technology & Tools: Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing technologies, tools, and platforms, bringing innovative solutions to the table to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in marketing roles focused on the home improvement sector, with a strong mix of B2C and B2B experience.
- Skills: Expertise in lead generation tactics, social media strategy, content marketing, brand management, and campaign analytics.
- Technologies: Familiarity with today’s marketing tools—CRM platforms, social media management suites, marketing automation software, analytics dashboards, and emerging channels.
- Strategic & Creative: Able to think strategically while also producing fresh, creative ideas that set us apart in a competitive marketplace.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Work Style: Comfortable splitting time between our Clarksville office (1-2 days/week) for collaboration and working remotely for focused execution.
