The Marketing Specialist will enhance brand awareness and customer engagement through social media and marketing strategies across multiple locations and brands, ideal for a passionate self-starter in the food industry.

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of content calendars, marketing asset distribution, and social media focused on increasing brand awareness, customer engagement, and driving traffic to our stores. This individual will both generate and distribute marketing collateral widely while also tracking the effectiveness and reach of individual programs. The position works with our three Atlanta locations and five distinct brands. This position is ideal for a confident, self-starter with a passion for food and entrepreneurship.

RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND TASKS

· Shoot, film, edit social media content with a focus on video and story content

· Lead/manage/maintain annual content calendars for internal activations and programming

· Create/design/print flyers, handbills, and instore marketing signage. Coordinate/maintain/refresh in store signage on a routine schedule

· Manage distribution of all produced marketing content to identified social media channels, neighborhood calendars, paid advertisement programs, editorial press, website, partner’s websites, landlord’s marketing personnel, email campaigns, instore signage, and other outlets as deemed necessary.

· Utilize routine reporting to communicate data on guest interest in particular programs back to operations teams

· Answer company email inquiries concerning marketing/press opportunities. Operations will handle operational inquiries.

· Negotiate/manage paid influencer spend. Meet, tour, and coordinate visits.

· Write press releases as necessary and coordinate distribution/scheduling/interviewing with CEO

· Site visits to each location at least twice per week on a pre-scheduled basis to cover content collection, team meetings, and signage coordination

· Lead bi-monthly marketing meetings per location with internal stakeholders to coordinate activation calendar content and/or discuss, ask, answer questions on marketing initiatives

· All other duties as may be reasonably required by the company or the direct supervisor

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

· This company does not maintain a corporate office as the work is mostly in our physical store locations. As such, the position is partially remote. It is expected that the candidate will pro-actively create a weekly calendar for his/her work schedule in the company’s Google Suite to communicate with all parties when he/she will be working on-site or working remote. Twice weekly half-day site visits per location are a requirement of the position. This means that up to two-days (16 hours) per week are available for remote work.

· This company allows each employee to utilize the computer/technology hardware that they prefer. This means that the employee provides the computer or other hardware necessary to fulfill the job role. However, the company offers a stipend/reimbursement for new equipment on a pre-determined schedule for necessary upgrades or additional equipment as it might be needed.

· This position is available for 1099 or subcontractor status so long as all other job requirements/duties are met, the position includes the full scope, and is paid on hourly basis.

REQUIRED Qualifications

· Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a marketing position with at least three years managing multiple brands

· Direct experience creating video content for social media brands

· Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Google Business Suite, Canva,

· Experience managing email marketing campaigns with at least 20,000 recipients

· Experience writing copy in a commercial setting

· Exceptional time and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities, communicate to multiple parties, and meticulously organize project documentation

· (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in marketing, creative writing, or related area of study

· (Preferred) Prior experience in hospitality

  • Constant standing, sitting, and walking.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to cut, measure, pour, serve, carry and wipe.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
