We're a community-driven fitness studio dedicated to strength training, where we focus on lifting each other up—literally and figuratively! Our Royal Oak location is thriving, and we're getting ready to expand to a new space nearby, bringing our unique blend of fitness and empowerment to even more women.
We’re looking for a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our team and take charge of all things marketing for both of our studios. If you're passionate about fitness, love being creative, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, we want YOU on our team!
Position Overview:
As the Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all marketing and public relations functions for both of our locations. You'll be driving the marketing strategy for the launch of our new studio and supporting the ongoing marketing initiatives for our Royal Oak location. You will create and execute strategic marketing campaigns, develop engaging content, manage social media platforms, drive paid advertising, and build community relationships. This role will involve a mix of creative design, campaign management, and analytical thinking to ensure the success of our business growth.
This role will be split between both locations: 2 days per week at our Royal Oak studio and 2 days per week at the new studio location, with some flexibility for remote work or travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Planning & Campaign Management
- Plan and execute yearly and monthly marketing campaigns for both studios, aligned with key business goals and seasonal promotions.

Social Media Marketing
- Manage and grow social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) with consistent, engaging content that reflects the brand’s voice.
- Create and schedule posts, stories, reels, and videos, leveraging trends to increase visibility and audience engagement.
- Track performance metrics and optimize content strategy to maximize engagement and conversion.
Paid Advertising
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and others to attract new leads and drive membership sales.
- Manage ad budgets, monitor performance, and optimize campaigns to ensure cost-effective results.
YouTube & Video Content Creation
- Produce and edit YouTube videos for workout tutorials, studio updates, challenges, and other promotional content.
- Ensure all video content aligns with the brand’s tone and enhances the customer experience.

- Ensure consistency in visual branding across all platforms and marketing materials.

- Lead PR efforts including drafting and distributing press releases to local media, bloggers, and influencers.
- Cultivate relationships with local influencers and community leaders to drive brand awareness.
- Plan and execute community engagement activities (local collaborations, giveaways, events) that drive excitement and loyalty.
- Coordinate pop-up events and partnerships for the new studio launch and ongoing community-building efforts in Royal Oak.

- Organize and manage community events, promotions, and special activities to promote the studio and create excitement.
