Benchmark International is seeking a creative and analytical Marketing Specialist to enhance its global marketing efforts, focusing on strategic marketing and outreach initiatives for the Deal Transaction side of the business.

Benchmark International, a leading financial services firm, is expanding its global marketing team with the addition of a Marketing Specialist who will assist with strategic marketing and outreach initiatives for our Deal Transaction side of the business. This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing and be located at our Tampa, Florida headquarters. Candidate must be creative, detailed, and organized. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for various marketing campaigns via email, inbound, social, WordPress microsites, SEO, PPC, and other alternative outlets. We need an energetic and analytical persona to join our team and help deliver the right type of content, to the right people, at the right time, through the right marketing platform.

Job Responsibilities

  • Help expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers
  • Understanding on what activities increase customer generation from our database.
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing them regular, helpful content that’s in-tune with their needs.
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Grow and nurture leads through calls-to-action, landing pages, and persona segmented content.
  • Collaborate with designers, other marketing team, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our audience.
  • Inform the teams about our customer behaviors and buying preferences and patterns.
  • Conduct buyer journey research, and help our team optimize our website, marketing touchpoints, and sales approach accordingly.
  • Reviewing existing marketing campaigns across the business and automating where appropriate.
  • Segmenting audiences and optimizing campaigns to increase effectiveness.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure automated campaigns achieve company goals.
  • Develop vision for analytics architecture, various predictive models, and efficient workflow across marketing.
  • Collaborate with both frontline marketers and senior leaders to both accurately forecast and craft the right strategies, campaigns, and tests to run.
  • Create the strategy for nurturing our leads through a mix of helpful content and other calls-to-action.
  • Manage and build various email lists and campaigns, including the design templates, calls-to-action, and content used in email sends.
  • Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).
  • Measure results and optimize the nurture tracks for these segments to convert leads to customers.
  • Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing productivity of our email sends.
  • Gathering and analyzing data, making recommendations, and ensuring appropriate adjustments are made to improve our outreach.
  • Ensuring all email campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry.
  • Working closely with IT to develop a clear CRM strategy for outreach and marketing.
  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes that succeed through email.
  • Measure the success of these campaigns and optimize your approach based on the resulting data.
  • Assist with email campaigns and communicating company brands through email marketing.
  • Analysis of current email marketing campaigns and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Managing trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximize sales.
  • Carrying out segmentation of the database and implementing remarketing strategies.
  • Create and implement new projects and creative ideas that help improve customer conversion rates.
  • Develop new user-facing features via landing pages, microsites, blogs, etc.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
  • Help manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, Instagram, Vimeo, and YouTube
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the database.
  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
  • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread our brand, content, and links.
  • Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing customers and leads and from brand new audiences that don’t yet know us.
  • Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.
  • Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
  • Mapping user journeys to ensure journeys flow and gain user acceptance.
  • Collaborate with teammates to support our website design and content marketing (blog, social media assets, and more)
  • Manage other design needs such as presentations, signage, and trade show collateral as needed.
  • Drive user research and concept development, including persona and scenario development.
  • Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes, and generate actionable insights.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
  • Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency.

Specific qualifications for our Marketing Specialist position include:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Hands on experience with Wordpress and developing Microsites
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes
  • Excellent command of all marketing tactics
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
  • Excellent presentation skills. Comfortable using data to bring up new opportunities and best practices to your teammates to improve the way we operate and grow.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and loves challenges
  • A cooperative and detailed oriented personality
  • Dedication to a high level of organization, including clear external and internal file management
  • The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both written and verbal form)
  • Extremely analytical and be able to translate complex data into actionable and profitable marketing plans
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • Must be able to work in the office each and every day as this is not a remote or hybrid position.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and/or web analytics
  • Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML and CSS a major plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically: InDesign, Photoshop
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them into converted customers.
  • Experience in Salesforce, Pardot and/or HubSpot
  • Experience using smart lists and marketing automation technology
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
  • Understanding of website layout aesthetics
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers


Salary


As a Marketing team member, you will receive an annual salary of $55,000- $65,000. This position includes paid time off, medical, dental, and AD&D insurance, and the opportunity to contribute to a 401(k) with company matching.
