Seeking a motivated Marketing Specialist to execute marketing strategies for AP’s Fleet Management and Rental divisions, focusing on digital campaigns, content creation, and brand engagement.

Position: Marketing Specialist
Location: Hybrid position based in Bend, Oregon (two days per week in office)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST
Compensation:
- Annual Salary: $60,000
- Annual Year-End Bonus Plan

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Marketing Specialist to join our team. This individual will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager, design team, and cross-functional teams to execute and optimize marketing strategies for AP’s Fleet Management, Rental divisions, and Financing initiatives. They will focus on running digital campaigns, creating engaging content, generating leads, and managing social media to expand brand presence and drive engagement for these new divisions.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution:
- Support the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, paid advertising (Google Ads, social platforms), and content marketing.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
Content Creation:
- Develop compelling copy for blogs, social media, websites, email blasts, print collateral, and paid ads.
- Optimize website content for SEO to increase traffic and engagement.
Lead Generation:
- Assist in creating lead generation campaigns with landing pages, forms, and calls-to-action (CTAs).
- Collaborate with the sales team to track and nurture leads.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Use insights to inform content strategies and campaign execution.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work with sales, business development, and design teams to create marketing collateral that aligns with business objectives.
Social Media:
- Create engaging content for social media platforms, monitor engagement, and analyze performance.
Compliance:
- Ensure marketing activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM).
Other Marketing Support:
- Assist with various marketing tasks to support overall goals and initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent experience (3-4 years in marketing coordination/specialist roles can substitute for a degree).
- Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management.
- Strong writing and copywriting skills with a focus on SEO-friendly content.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Creative and innovative mindset.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of relevant marketing laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Experience with graphic design tools (such as Canva) is a plus.
Work Conditions:
- Hybrid role between office and home. Must have home office environment with minimal noise and disruption.
- Reliable, secure high-speed internet.
- Comfort with virtual engagement tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Some travel may be required (<10%).
