Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing the Versova brand and online presence to enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with an understanding of marketing channels, branding and social media platforms, trends, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset and a strong ability to measure and optimize campaign performance to meet organizational goals.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and implement brand management strategies including branding guidelines and company branded materials
- Manage and grow social media accounts across various platforms, ensuring content is engaging, consistent, and audience-focused.
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, communication and recruitment to ensure alignment and amplify messaging.
- Maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring timely publication and coordination with broader marketing efforts.
- Monitor social media trends, competitive landscape, and emerging platforms to identify opportunities for engagement and innovation.
- Analyze performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate paid social media campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance optimization. - Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and advertising capabilities.
- Creative content development skills, including graphic design, video editing, and copywriting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse audiences. Knowledge of SEO, influencer marketing, and digital marketing trends is a plus.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in brand management, social media management or digital marketing.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
- Proficiency in content creation tools, such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing paid social media campaigns, including budgeting and analytics.
- Background in retail or a similar industry, specifically with grocery and/or lawn and garden Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Work Environment:
- This position operates in a professional office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for special campaigns or events.
