SHORT DESCRIPTION

Seeking a marketing professional to execute brand tactics, manage channel marketing, engage with PR and reviewers, and enhance social media presence while collaborating with the sales team.

Marketing Responsibilities

Brand marketing – Be both the “thinker” and the “doer”. Ability to come up with brand marketing tactics and specific brand marketing promotions as well as being able to take the initiative and execution so that your ideas can come to life. Have your own thoughts on how to build a brand, but also able to take direction and executing tasks as assigned.

Channel marketing – Understand how a sale channel works and able to execute channel programs under collaboration from the sales and marketing team. You should be keenly aware of the ROI of marketing dollars and how to report it.

Maintaining and improving content listing after discussing with marketing manager .

Marketing analytic researching

Able to follow internal control procedures and understand job entailed work flow process.

PR and reviewer contact – Have the interpersonal skills to quickly bring someone to your side, and be able to effectively communicate our product advantages to reviewers and customers. Be an influential voice and advocate and AC Delco Tools.

Social media marketing – Be social media savvy. Always be aware that what you post on social media represents the entire brand and company. Experienced in the various social media channels and understand how to operate the tools within.

Graphics collateral and web design liaison – If you have graphic design or web development capabilities that would be a huge plus, but you should be able to at least work with simple Photoshop arrangements.

Qualifications

Graduate of a 4 year university or the equivalent in relevant working experience.

At least 1-2 years experience in working in the marketing department of a company that sells branded consumer and commercial product.

At least 1 year experience in the power tools, home construction tools, or automotive tools industry would be a definite plus.

Mandarin Chinese proficiency would be a plus in communicating with headquarters, but definitely not necessary.

Team player to the max. You will be measured both individually and as a team to achieve targets, with more of an emphasis on your team contribution.

Show a proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint. Be proficient with Adobe Photoshop and other common graphics arrangement software programs.

You should be able to quickly build rapport and relationship with people, so that you are able to influence how they think.

Able to follow direction and keep an open mind. Be detail oriented and a fast learner at the same time. Excellent oral and written communicator but able to listen and understand what people need from you before attempting to reply.

You have a hunger to learn more than what you already know or think you know.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
