SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Team Leader will develop and execute strategic marketing plans to strengthen the ForeverLawn brand, attract new dealers, and support existing ones while reporting to the Creative/Marketing Director.

General Purpose:

The Marketing Team Leader is responsible for helping develop, implement, and execute strategic marketing plans and initiatives for the entire organization (including vertical markets under the ForeverLawn umbrella) in order to build the ForeverLawn brand, attract new dealers, and support existing ones.

As a member of the Marketing/Creative team, this individual will report to the Creative/Marketing Director for guidance and direction while still making autonomous decisions. He/She will play a critical role in aligning creative direction with the company’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Help support all marketing campaigns for ForeverLawn, its sub brands, dealer network, and internal teams
  • Lead the development and day-to-day activities of internal marketing team in areas of graphic design, digital, creative, and content marketing, social media, and communications
  • Implement strategy, both individually and in conjunction with leadership
  • Ensure the company communicates the best possible messaging to attract prospective customers, garner interest for dealership opportunities, and retain/support existing dealers and partners
  • Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, and dealer support
  • Update leadership team on the progress of various marketing initiatives and campaign results

Essential Duties

  • Manage and coordinate marketing initiatives, creative staff, and interdepartmental communication
  • Prioritize, delegate, and organize incoming and outgoing projects/requests among team members
  • Collaborate with media organizations and advertising agencies on cooperative partnerships
  • Brainstorm ideas for new campaigns as well as tactics to improve brand marketing and exposure
  • Implement market research efforts to assess the viability of current and existing products/services
  • Collaborate with other departments to produce effective strategies and content
  • Monitor current campaigns, ensuring team efficiency for meeting deadlines and complete necessary tasks.

  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels, including but not limited to: print, digital, SEO, social media, etc.
  • Experience and understanding of graphic design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Strong project management, organizational, and decision-making skills & prior use of project management platforms.
  • Professional judgment and discretion that comes from experience in the field
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • Familiarity with trends, technologies, and methodologies in graphic design, web design, print, digital marketing, etc.

Miscellaneous

  • Devotes appropriate attention to ForeverLawn objectives as assigned, ensuring that such goals are met or exceeded
  • Maintains a record of acceptable attendance and punctuality
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, or Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of digital and print marketing experience
