SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Technology Product Owner is responsible for maximizing value from marketing technology platforms, developing roadmaps, and ensuring seamless integration to enhance personalized marketing campaigns in support of business goals.

PAY RANGE: $133,300.00 - $150,000.00 ANNUALLY

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing Technology (MarTech) Product Owner will be responsible for implementing and extracting maximum value from marketing technology platforms. The product owner will create and oversee roadmaps, working with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to implement the technology infrastructure and integrations required for personalized marketing campaigns. This role will support ongoing strategic and operational projects, understanding product design and custom offers capability while driving development of these services. The PO will ensure that the right tools, platforms, and technologies are used to achieve marketing goals by understanding the strategic needs of the business and the technical capabilities of various marketing technology platforms.

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
1. Manage advanced marketing technology platforms to enable the marketing team to execute data-driven, personalized cross-sell campaigns that drive both strategic growth objectives and key business outcomes.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders across Golden 1 to develop and implement a technical infrastructure and feature sets to provide marketing opportunities for complex data-driven automated consumer and member journey campaigns.
3. Use data to develop a deep understanding of member needs and wants to inform product design and development decisions to fill experience gaps and optimize marketing opportunities.
4. Evaluate new marketing technologies and platforms, making recommendations for adoption or upgrades.
5. Ensure seamless integration of marketing tech tools with other business systems.
6. Drive marketing technology discussions and work closely with business stakeholders on requirements.
7. Monitor martech platform usage, identify pain points, and drive continuous improvements in processes.
8. Experience in an agile product management environment including agile ceremonies and work items.
9. Considers the entire marketing experience from acquisition to loyalty to provide a positive, seamless experience and provide input on platform vision, audience segments, goal setting, execution, and product roll-out strategies.
10. Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws.
11. Performs other duties as needed by management.

PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASK:
1. Effective oral and written communication skills required to varying levels of analytical daily tasks.
2. Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate standard office equipment such as a personal computer, VOIP telephone, printers, scanners, etc.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:
1. INTERNAL: All levels of staff.
2. EXTERNAL: Vendors, management, other financial institutions, and other contact centers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology or related field preferred.
2. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 7 or more years in Marketing Technology, Digital Marketing or Product Marketing with direct experience implementing and managing platforms.

3. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
  • Product owner certification preferred.
  • Strong technical marketing infrastructure implementation skills and deep martech experience.
  • Understanding of integrations and data architecture in marketing technology ecosystem.
  • Comfort with technical jargon and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and engineers.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and the product development lifecycle.
  • Ability to create and maintain product roadmaps, write clear user stories, and prioritize features.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, customer lifecycle, customer segmentation, and marketing funnels.
  • Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, content management, social media marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Leadership skills to manage and work with cross-functional business partners and team.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills are essential, as this position will have exposure to various management levels across the organization. Ability to adapt to an environment that is in a growth mode and pivot as needed to meet goals and as priorities shift.
  • Seasoned well-trained professional with strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for emerging digital technologies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
2. Corrected vision within the normal range.
3. Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
4. Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
5. Occasionally required to change work hours or work long hours including working on weekends to accomplish tasks
