Marketing and Events Manager
A leading South Florida hospitality company is seeking a full-time, experienced Marketing & Events Manager to oversee event marketing, coordination, and execution for our dynamic, high-energy venues. Based in Downtown Miami, the ideal candidate will be creative, highly organized, and resilient under pressure, with a strong network of local contacts and an in-depth understanding of Miami’s vibrant social scene, cultural trends, and nightlife.

Key Responsibilities
Event Planning, Coordination, & Marketing

Conceptualize, plan, and execute events for assigned venues, ensuring smooth coordination of logistics, entertainment, and on-site production.

Lead marketing strategies for each event, working closely with creative, social media, and production teams to ensure consistency with brand standards and creative output.

Collaborate with the Production Manager to conceptualize and implement event décor and production setups, ensuring optimal execution.

Maintain a weekly audit of the event calendar, strategically placing and optimizing events for maximum impact and visibility.
Creative Marketing Strategy & Team Collaboration

Develop and contribute innovative marketing strategies, ensuring all digital, social media, and PR campaigns are on-brand and captivating.

Lead cross-functional collaboration with design, social media, digital advertising, web, and public relations teams to align messaging and strategies across all channels.

Provide clear creative direction for artwork, ensuring designs are eye-catching, on-brand, and contribute to successful event promotion.

Work closely with the social media team to review scheduled posts across all platforms
(Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google My Business, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring alignment with the marketing strategy.
- Collaborate with the digital advertising team to oversee paid campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, Yelp, and TripAdvisor.
Influencer Relations & Community Engagement

Foster and expand local influencer partnerships and media relationships, ensuring visits and collaborations are aligned with event marketing and social media efforts.

Identify offsite promotional opportunities and assist in the coordination and execution of community engagements that drive foot traffic to venues.

Consistently monitor and analyze local social trends, identifying new opportunities for collaboration, event themes, and marketing strategies to keep the venue relevant in Miami’s dynamic scene.
General Marketing & Brand Consistency

Ensure consistency in the customer journey, from the first interaction with marketing materials to the event experience, pinpointing areas for improvement and optimizing customer touchpoints.

Coordinate all on-site promotional materials, including branded signage, menus, apparel, and venue décor.

Lead event reporting efforts, providing weekly updates on event attendance, sales, and marketing performance metrics.

Proactively manage the marketing budget, ensuring all marketing initiatives and events stay within financial constraints.
Meetings & Reporting

Attend weekly meetings with the marketing, PR, operations, and production teams to ensure seamless collaboration and strategy execution.

Provide weekly reports on event success, attendance, marketing impact, and budget adherence to directors and stakeholders.
Key Qualifications

2-3 years of hospitality marketing experience, with a strong focus on event marketing and coordination.

In-depth knowledge of Miami’s social scene, including local venues, bands, DJs, influencers, and emerging cultural trends.

Proven track record of managing high-pressure projects with tight deadlines, while maintaining creativity and quality.

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without missing a detail.

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, meeting tight deadlines and leading cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to take charge of projects and motivate a team.

Experience in digital marketing (including Meta, Google Ads) and proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Yelp, Facebook).

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar creative tools.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of South Florida's hospitality landscape, including local influencers, music genres, and cultural trends.

Experience working with event production teams, managing décor, setup, and entertainment for both large and small-scale events.

Ability to stay ahead of digital and social trends, ensuring our venues remain relevant and competitive in a constantly evolving market.

Proven ability to manage and grow influencer partnerships, with a solid network of Miami-based contacts.

Experience with public relations and coordinating press visits to maximize event exposure.
Compensation
- $80,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience.
