Job Overview
Philly Photo & Philm is a young and quickly growing company specializing in photography and video production for a variety of clients in events, marketing, schools, and sports. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing & Sales Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic marketing and sales initiatives. The role will require strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of marketing principles, and a proven track record in sales and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Website Management, and Communications
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Understand and represent our brands and partners.
- Create and curate content that reflects our brand identity and partnerships.
- Develop engaging content for all social media platforms.
- Manage and grow our social media presence.
- Respond to all online messages and engage with other online brands and potential clients.
- Oversee the development and execution of all marketing campaigns that assist in boosting sales, including digital marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, and in person promotions
Graphic Design & Website Management:
- Create visually appealing graphics using Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing goals.
- Maintain and update our storefront and website to ensure an engaging user experience.

Photography and Video:
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos of our services and/or clients.
- Edit and enhance visual content to promote our services and products.
- Maintain an organized digital library of visual assets.
- Occasionally stand in as a photographer for jobs
- Provide administrative studio support as needed such as managing files, media, studio gear.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and marketing.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their usage.
- Excellent content creation and communication skills.
- Passion for our services and products.
- Experience in photography and video production.
- Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotional events.

Hours and Compensation:
- Part-time position ranging from 8-24 hours per week.
- Opportunities for full-time employment based on performance, with potential for expanding job roles and duties.
- Entry-level pay starts at $16 per hour.
- Experienced candidates may earn between $18.38 and $21.52 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
