Job Summary
Grey Duck Studios is looking for an experienced Marketing and Sales Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision for driving growth and client acquisition, a passion for elevating customer experience, and a solid background in B2B sales within the event management or technology sectors. This role requires an innovative mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a results-driven approach to lead our marketing and sales initiatives effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic marketing and sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand Grey Duck Studios' client base in the virtual event and tech sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establishing relationships with small to large businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-ticket offer clients.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and communicate Grey Duck Studios' value proposition, focusing on our unique technical framework and dashboard system that allows clients to concentrate on content.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, positioning Grey Duck Studios as a leader in the virtual event management space.
- Optimize lead generation strategies and drive client engagement through targeted outreach, social media, email marketing, and partnerships.
- Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure goals are met.
- Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Represent Grey Duck Studios at industry events and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and drive new business.
- Develop case studies and success stories, such as the impact of our partnership with the Land Geek, to showcase the value we provide to clients.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a passion for growth, relationship-building, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing and sales leadership role, ideally within the virtual events, technology, or event management industries.
- Proven track record in B2B sales and client acquisition, with experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and CRM tools; familiarity with virtual event platforms is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex value propositions clearly.
- Experience in building and managing relationships with clients at all levels, from small businesses to high-profile entrepreneurs.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategies to meet goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in mentoring or managing small teams.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
