Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Sales Team at the Grand Hyatt Seattle as our Marketing Manager!

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager is to work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to research, develop and implement the marketing and communications plan to support the business objectives for Grand Hyatt Seattle. The ultimate goal is to heighten market presence, increase positive awareness, strengthen brand loyalty, increase market share and most importantly, produce increased revenues and profitability. The Marketing Manager will promote awareness and maintain a positive brand image of the property on a local, regional and national level through consistent and targeted marketing and digital campaigns and Public Relations. This individual will ensure that Grand Hyatt Seattle’s brand position is present in coverage, messages are compelling, and insights and reporting are accurate.

Further responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing in managing the annual agency budgets and plans (public relations, advertising and online) as well as the local hotel marketing plan and budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive revenue, conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials, collaborating with the global Hyatt team to align local strategies with the overall brand direction

  • Organize and implement client relations activities and customer engagement

  • Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media, including the creation of engaging content for the Hotel's website, social media, and other marketing channels; analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed

  • Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, expenditures, and ROI, and utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, presenting findings to senior management

  • Work with and manage relationships with designers, writers, vendors, agencies, and other creatives to produce high-quality marketing materials

  • Identify and establish partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and media outlets to enhance the hotel's visibility

  • Manage email, digital and content strategy and messaging in each of the channels and websites and review platforms, monitoring and responding to customer feedback

  • Assist in the development, coordination and publication of special events to generate positive awareness and support the marketing revenue objectives of the hotel and outlets

  • Implement strategies to enhance guest engagement and satisfaction through personalized marketing efforts

The salary range for this position is $67,725 to $95,700. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications, and education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business is preferred

  • Marketing experience required

  • Prior experience marketing hotels and market segment preferred

  • Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher

  • Great understanding of digital advertising

  • Web research skills and familiarity with major social media resources required

  • Graphic design capabilities and HTML skills preferred

  • Must be able to communicate professionally, both written and verbal

  • Strong ability to write professionally and communicate in writing required

  • Familiarity with the Seattle area is preferred

  • Must be able to manage projects to completions
