Marketing Manager
CYBEX is seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Team.
We are looking for a self-motivated, extremely organized, hands-on individual to join our marketing team and work closely with marketing, project management and sales. The Marketing Manager is managing the development and printing of marketing materials, overseeing the Point of Sale Program, and coordinating trade shows and consumer fairs. The Marketing Manager will also handle the organization of retail, wholesale, and brand events, nationwide retailer events, influencer/VIP seeding, social media support, internal communication through newsletters, and logistics for sample requests. This centralized role ensures effective execution of diverse marketing initiatives, fostering cohesive brand representation and strategic partnerships.
Areas of Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional groups (sales, marketing, product management and operations) to help manage development, production, and printing of world-class product marketing communications, including user-facing materials, brochures, POP, retailer support materials (retailer-specific hangtags, tear sheets).
- Manage Point of Sale Program including
- Work with sales and marketing on deployment of trade materials to retailers, including in-store point of sale/fixturing.
- Coordinate with internal graphics team and freelancers to ensure the development of trade assets, windows and in-store POP projects in a timely, organized fashion
- Develop and manage industry trade show executions and programs including cross-functional coordination with product and graphics teams
- Manage consumer fairs from start to finish – logistics, staffing, product assortment and follow up communication
- Oversee the development of retail, wholesale, and brand marketing events, inclusive of project management and assigning responsibilities
- Coordinate retailer events nationwide
- Vet influencer/VIP seeding database
- Support Social Media Manager by monitoring analytics, scheduling posts in advance, providing creative content, and staying abreast of social trends.
- Create a monthly marketing newsletter for CYBEX stakeholders
- Manage UGC image database
- Manage sample request logistics for PR, influencers, events, etc.
Technical Skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills – must be a talented writer
- Dynamic personality with a positive attitude
- Strong technical experience with Microsoft apps (must be strong in MS Excel) and digital system technology in general; Working knowledge of Product Information Systems, Salsify is a plus! (If not, must have a willingness to be trained on new platforms)
- Proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Down to earth and hands-on
- May have been a treasure hunter in a past life and can embrace ambiguity

- Ability to travel 10% of the time, often overnight.

- Have a valid driver’s license and (ability to rent a car).
- Ability to pack/transport product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to drive up to 5 hours in a stretch.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management or Liberal Arts concentrations
- 2+ years in marketing or product marketing preferably at a consumer goods company
- Experience working with graphic designers, printers and agencies
- Previous experience working on brand and products with global presence a pluse
Location/Travel
- Boston
- Hybrid (Monday – Thursday in office w/Friday WFH)
- Minimal travel required (10%)
