Marketing Project Manager (Temp)

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Part-time Marketing Project Manager (Temp) for the San Francisco Opera Association, executing cross-functional projects and managing marketing campaigns.
This is a part-time role with a schedule of 20-25 hours per week.
PURPOSE: To execute a mix of large cross-functional projects and small traditional marketing projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work with the Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Marketing Coordinator Brand & Loyalty to execute the marketing plan for subscription and single ticket sales across all traditional marketing channels (print / broadcast / direct mail / telemarketing /Out-of-Home etc.).
- Manage Season Launch and Subscription Campaign across all channels including direct mail, web, email, and socials.
- Maintain strategy across all channels, collaborating with the Manger Digital & Acquisition, Email Manager, Marketing Manager, Web and E-Commerce, and Senior Marketing Coordinator Brand & Loyalty.
- Assist in managing web testing process.
- Manage direct mail campaigns that drive towards patron retention goals.
- Manage outbound telemarketing sales campaign and vendors in support of subscription sales, audience retention, and growth.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate traditional marketing assets.
- Contribute to writing and editing Marketing copy as it relates to projects assigned.
- Contribute to reporting on projects in collaboration with Director of Research & Analytics, and Senior Marketing Coordinator Brand & Loyalty.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or relevant work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum three to five (3-5) years of project management experience. Arts marketing or experience with performing arts organization preferred.
PREREQUISITE SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working cross-departmentally with diverse stakeholders.
- Must be able to set priorities, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and meet firm deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google applications, project management tools and platforms; Asana and Microsoft Teams.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively internally and externally.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Exemplary diplomacy, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Database experience (especially Tessitura) is preferred.
- Must perform the functions of the position in a safe manner.
