The Center for Societal Aspiration (CSA) is a startup 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rehabilitating vulnerable members of the community, including those facing addiction, homelessness, and poverty through socially driven technology.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Media Production Specialist Volunteer to join our marketing team as a volunteer. They will be responsible for creating visually engaging content that effectively communicates CSA’s mission and initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your design skills while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Key Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design:
Create eye-catching graphics for various digital platforms, including social media posts, newsletters, and website content, to promote CSA's programs and events.
- Media Production:
Assist in the production of multimedia content, including videos, animations, and presentations, to enhance CSA’s storytelling and outreach efforts.
- Brand Development:
Help maintain and develop CSA’s brand identity by ensuring consistency in design and messaging across all marketing materials.
- Collaborative Projects:
Work closely with the marketing and communications team to brainstorm and execute design ideas for campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives.
- Animation Production: Contribute to the creation of engaging animation content, including storyboarding, character design, motion graphics, and 2D/3D animations, to enhance CSA’s storytelling and outreach initiatives.
- Content Creation:
Design promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and posters to support CSA’s events and fundraising activities.
- Feedback and Revisions:
Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine designs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay Current:
Keep up to date with design trends and best practices to bring fresh ideas and innovations to CSA’s visual communications.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
