Medical Office Coordinator
LOCATION
In person, part-time position with expected hours of 32 – 36 per week; no weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in surgical office coordination or a similar role, strong knowledge of cosmetic surgical office procedures, familiarity with HIPAA/OSHA regulations, proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, EMR software, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee office operations and maintenance, manage phone calls and messages, coordinate consultations and surgeries, assist with patient appointments, monitor surgeon's schedule, manage emails, maintain filing systems, and assist with budgeting and financial reporting.

Responsible for overseeing daily operations of a cosmetic plastic surgery office while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient workflow.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a mature, professional, organized and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the office and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service skills, a "can do" attitude, and a proven track record in plastic or cosmetic surgery office experience. Marketing and sales experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee maintenance of office equipment and supplies
-Answer phone calls and take accurate messages
-Coordinate and schedule consultations & surgeries
-Assist with pre and post operative appointments
-Monitor surgeon's schedule to maintain efficient use of surgeon's time
-Optimize office flow and maintain smooth operations
-Handle incoming and outgoing emails
-Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are organized and easily accessible
-Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
Experience:
- Previous experience in surgical office coordination or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic surgical office procedures and systems
-Knowledge and maintenance of HIPPA/OSHA
-Knowledge/experience with social media & internet marketing
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and EMR software
- Must be able to work independently or with a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
