Job Overview:
We are looking for a Merchant Development Coordinator to join the Wildfire System’s Merchant Development team. You will play a key role in supporting the team by managing various aspects of merchant relationships, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Merchant Portfolio Support:
- Support the Merchant Development team in managing a portfolio of merchant relationships.
- Accept new merchant offers and commission rates, ensuring accurate data entry and timely updates.
- Proactively monitor merchant activity, commission rates, and revenue for top merchants, alerting the team to any major changes.
- Identify and recommend suitable merchant partnerships for our publisher partners based on geography, category, and other defined criteria.
Operations & Communication:
- Utilize internal and external tools to create and schedule advertising placements, confirm rates, and maintain accurate merchant records with screenshots.
- Research and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding merchants or networks.
- Review network communications, responding as needed or escalating to the appropriate Merchant Development Manager or Director for follow-up.
- Interact with merchant partners to obtain creative assets for partner sites and platforms.
- Liaise with affiliate network representatives regarding recruitment and optimization efforts, participating in regular meetings.
Data & Quality Assurance:
- Perform data analysis, reporting, and research to support strategic merchant initiatives.
- Use administration tools to perform quality assurance checks on behalf of our merchants, including verifying rates and coupons.
- Maintain accurate profiles and setup information on internal admin and affiliate interfaces.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in affiliate marketing or a related agency environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on email communication.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications (Word, Excel, G Suite, HubSpot or other CRM, various affiliate network interfaces).
- Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to change, and demonstrate a passion for learning.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
