The Sales Analyst will support strategic departmental goals, manage customer setups, and facilitate communication between teams to enhance the overall efficiency of sales and account management processes.

Job Description:

The Sales Analyst is responsible for supporting strategic departmental goals that add value to the organization. This analyst will serve as the initial point of contact for allocation issues and will monitor contract entry, bill of ladings and invoicing. This person will be responsible for obtaining customer set up information and escalating inquiries to related groups. In addition to customer setups, this analyst will perform duties related to day-to-day sales, business development and account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the intermediary between groups to ensure all information is accounted for in one central location
  • Possesses superior telephone, communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively and positively with people at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Handles inquiries and issues as related to customer set up information, billing and loading problems; researches and resolves all issues or further escalates to manager as appropriate
  • Manages all customer setups and other related customer functions
  • Manages web portal and third party software setups
  • Runs analytics for the Marketing team evaluating competitive/new opportunities
  • Supports sales with new business development and account management
  • Coordinates industry and trade specific sales generation efforts
  • Cultivates current customer relationships

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business, finance, logistics, communications, or related field preferred
  • 0-5 years professional experience, finance, logistics, business administration preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with logistics software
