Your Role at KIK
The Mid-Level Full Stack Developer reports to the IT Data Director. In this role, you are a part of the KIK Custom Products Information Systems team. You will be responsible for supporting high-usage applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in back-end development using C# .NET Framework and SQL Server, with solid front-end development skills in React and JavaScript. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for our platform, ensuring the smooth functioning of mission-critical applications.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead development efforts during all the phases of the project life cycle, with emphasis on business requirements gathering, quality assurance and user acceptance phases.
- Design, direct and implement business intelligence solutions, including business requirements, design, development, and deployment.
- Own relationship with the business users and schedule meetings with business users and analytics developers.
- Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components for a high-usage application.
- Collaborate with the product and design teams to translate requirements into functional, scalable solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform regular code reviews and assist in maintaining the overall quality of the application.
- Work with SQL Server databases, writing efficient queries, stored procedures, and database management.
- Integrate front-end interfaces using React and JavaScript for an optimal user experience.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in both front-end and back-end environments.
- Participate in planning and sprint meetings, contributing to task estimation and technical discussions.
- Continuously improve the performance, security, and scalability of the application.
- Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and assist in resolving complex issues.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack development.
- Familiarity with Azure environment, including App Services and Azure SQL Database.
- Back-end: Proficiency in C# .NET Framework.
- Front-end: Strong experience with React and JavaScript.
- Database: Solid understanding of SQL Server, including writing complex queries and managing databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment.
- Deployment: Experience deploying changes to the production environment using CI/CD DevOp Pipeline (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Pulumi).
- Experience developing and maintaining high-volume transaction applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Time management and analytics skills.
- 5% travel

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $ 120,000 – 130,000. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
