Ceragon Networks seeks a Vice President of Private Network Sales to lead sales efforts in North America, focusing on State, Local Government, Education, Utilities, and Energy sectors.

Ceragon Networks’ North America Vice President of Private Network Sales, reporting into the Global Vice President of Private Networks Sales, will have responsibility for the Private Network group within Ceragon’s North America region. Responsibility for sales, planning, organizing, staffing, training and managing all functions within the group. Responsibility over sales functions to achieve the company objectives of sales growth, profit and visibility. This will include working collaboratively with the executive team and cross-functional groups such as Product, Marketing, Finance and legal, in addition to external resources.

Key duties/responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall Private Network sales and team for Ceragon Networks in North America (NA) focusing on our Private Networks Business in the State, Local Government and Education vertical (SLED), Utilities and Energy Verticals. Job duties include:
  • Execute on Ceragon’s comprehensive Go-To-Market sales strategy for the vertical markets to achieve booking, revenue, profit and growth targets
  • Manage a team of vertical expert sales professionals. Maintain and recruit an effective Sales force
  • Execute sales, strategic account planning and overall relationship management for our vertical customers
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the team by helping influence customer’s technology platform decisions and develop preference and loyalty for Ceragon solutions
  • Develop, manage, and report on KPI’s including sales funnel and provide accurate and timely forecasts to management
  • Use Sales Force and other company tools to provide business information in support of sales activities
  • Generate forecasts for budgeting, inventory levels and quotas
  • Conduct complete annual performance reviews to ensure high performance, comprehensive training of sales staff and skill building.
  • Conduct and analyze market research to determine risk and marketability of potential products and features
  • Work with internal stakeholders to exceed customer expectations
  • Conduct sales activities including solution selling, establishing value prop, responding to tenders, and performing hands-on demonstrations
  • Be an industry thought leader and represent Ceragon at various industry events by actively participating in associations and organization related to the segment
  • Attend tradeshows and participate in other sales/marketing events as required

Requirements:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills required (oral, written & presentation)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the experience and ability to effectively influence at all levels both internally and externally
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Track record of ability to close complex solution sales
  • Deep understanding of the desired vertical markets
  • Deep experience in Telecommunication space and thorough understanding of competitive landscape and global business environment
  • Technical understanding and experience in the communications industry, with knowledge of telecom, and data networks through knowledge in RF, Microwave and wireless products is required
  • Recognized as highly credible in a competitive sales environment
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels and thrive under pressure
  • Successful sales leadership experience with high value/price system sales to senior management
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executives
  • Expertise in account management and business development for new accounts, financial analysis and modeling, understanding of legal agreements and creating presentations
  • Strong experience analyzing and presenting all relevant market, industry and company factors to support proactively identifying targets and priorities
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to seamlessly lead multiple high priority, time- sensitive initiatives in parallel
  • Ability to significantly contribute to high level strategy in addition to being a master of details and process when needed
  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced and extremely dynamic environment with ability to be self- sufficient, proactive and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Experience working in a global or multi- national business required
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with experience leading deal teams
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree
