SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a results-driven National Account Manager to oversee and grow the veterinary home delivery business, focusing on strategy development, account management, and digital marketing efforts to enhance engagement with pet owners and veterinarians.
- Assist in the development and own the implementation of a comprehensive veterinary home delivery strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Own and optimize consumer rebate, advertising, and MDF budgets to drive growth across the platforms.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and pricing to identify opportunities at category and brand levels.
- Serve as the liaison and primary point of contact for our relationships with veterinary home delivery accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including veterinary home delivery partners, veterinary clinics, and corporate partners.
- Own veterinary home delivery agreements, financial accruals, and quarterly business reviews.
- Collect, analyze, and monitor SiT reporting to ensure adequate inventory levels within the channel.
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns including SEO, email marketing, and other pet owner facing campaigns.
- Monitor success metrics and other analytics to gauge campaign performance and optimize AutoShip conversion rates.
- Oversee the online catalogue of veterinary products ensuring accurate product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability.
- In tandem with the digital marketing and brand teams, develop and own the overall veterinary home delivery strategy.
- Partner with the strategic account team to develop programs aimed at corporate partners to help strengthen home delivery sales through alignment of mutual objectives.
- Work with the IT, data analytics, finance, and commercial operations teams to manage veterinary home delivery data and financial flows.
- Alongside the sales leadership and the training & development team, align on the Territory Managers’ role relative to home delivery program execution. Develop training assets as needed.
- Regularly reviews and assesses performance analytics such as AutoShip subscriptions generated, retention and conversion rates, and brand performance.
- Create and deliver regular performance reports to Channel Manager and executive leadership, as needed.
- In conjunction with IT teams, develop reporting and analytic dashboards to measure program performance against KPIs.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Veterinary Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus but not required.
- Experience
- Minimum of (5) years of experience managing accounts or strategies within the veterinary home delivery or eCommerce industries.
- Proven track record of driving revenue and growth through online channels.
- Skills
- Strong understanding of B2C digital marketing, veterinary home delivery model, or other pet owner-facing eCommerce platforms.
