Coordinate projects between Research & Development and Sales, introduce new products, develop strategic sales and growth plans, establish client relationships, manage budgets, and execute sales reports and project updates.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The National Accounts Manager will drive sales growth by managing client relationships and projects while collaborating with R&D and supporting organizational initiatives for key foodservice and industrial clients.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The candidate must be based in the Southeastern United States to ensure proximity to key customer accounts and facilitate travel requirements.

- Works with the Director to develop an annual strategic sales plan, sales budget, associated tactical plan and three-year growth plan as it relates to the strategic growth plans of targeted key foodservice and industrial clients.
- Derives both innovation and optimization platforms that support custom food and flavor solutions.
- Reviews established budget and sales goals annually.
- Establishes key client relationships through traveling within the boundaries of a client specified territory.
- Secures top line growth while maintaining profitability initiatives derived by Executive Team.
- Adheres to sales expense budgets and policies.
- Responsible for managing R&D projects and presentations by assisting Culinary and Marketing.
- Executes monthly sales reports and project updates within Project Trak.
- Maintains strategic account plans and goals for key accounts.
- Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of sales experience in the food industry, with a focus on customized solutions such as seasonings, sauces, or similar products.
