National Sales Director - Remote
LOCATION
Candidates must reside within the Huntington Billboard footprint; preferred locations include Chicago, Ohio, Indianapolis, Kentucky, or Tennessee.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 8+ years of proven success in sales (advertising, media, or out-of-home experience preferred), demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets, strong understanding of the advertising landscape, exceptional communication skills, basic computer skills required, willingness to travel monthly, and a valid driver’s license.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute sales strategy, manage key client relationships, identify and acquire new clients, monitor market trends, collaborate with marketing and creative teams, track sales performance, mentor junior team members, oversee campaign execution, and engage with clients through presentations and site tours.

We are currently seeking a National Sales Director to lead revenue growth and oversee strategic sales operations across our national markets. This pivotal role involves managing high-value client relationships, spearheading new business development, and optimizing media sales performance. Job Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of proven success in sales, with a preference for candidates with advertising, media, or out-of-home (OOH) experience.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
- Media Knowledge: Strong understanding of the advertising landscape, including OOH, digital, and broadcast platforms.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills required; experience with inventory management software is a plus.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel monthly for client meetings and presentations.
- Self-Motivation: Highly independent, organized, and goal-driven with excellent cold-calling and prospecting skills.
- License: Valid driver’s license required.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed national revenue targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for key clients and agency partners, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify high-potential prospects, leverage networks, and drive new client acquisitions.
- Market Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to shape strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, creative, and operational teams to deliver innovative and effective media solutions.
- Performance Analysis: Track sales metrics, forecast revenue, and refine strategies to optimize results.
- Leadership Role: Represent the sales team in strategic discussions, mentoring junior sales team members and promoting a collaborative culture.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring proof of performance (POP) and high client ROI.
- Client Engagement: Conduct in-person meetings, site tours, and presentations to highlight advertising opportunities.
National Sales Director will generate income of at least:
