SHORT DESCRIPTION

Seeking a friendly and compassionate Office Manager to oversee operations at two plastic surgery locations on a part-time basis, with the potential for full-time work in a growing practice dedicated to patient care excellence.

Ohio Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is a plastic surgery practice with offices in Worthington, OH and Marysville, OH. We provide both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and non-surgical aesthetic treatments. We are hiring for an Office Manager to join our team and looking for a friendly and compassionate individual to help manage both office locations on a part-time basis, although full-time employment is a possibility in the future. The ideal candidate will have prior direct patient care experience along with previous management experience demonstrating effective leadership, communication, and customer service skills. We are looking for someone who strives to promote excellence in patient care and team success.

The position will be part-time (3 days/week) with the option to become full-time in the future. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow and manage an expanding plastic surgery and aesthetic practice in central Ohio!

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision, training, and evaluation of clinical and administrative staff
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
  • Approval of timesheets, biweekly payroll processing, staff schedules
  • Complete revenue and expense monthly reports.
  • Communicate with vendors, assist with education initiatives
  • Function as financial patient liaison, managing billing/payment requests
  • Assist marketing team in setting goals for marketing and collaboration
  • Develop strategies for business growth
  • Maintain Physician Quality Reporting metrics
  • Manage medical and cosmetic inventory.
  • Provides training and education requirements for HIPAA, OSHA, Sexual Harassment Training, etc.
  • Working knowledge of all cosmetic services and products including injectables, fillers, surgical procedures, lasers, and aesthetician services.
  • General understanding of plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Ensure maintenance and organization of medical records and communication, while ensuring strict adherence to HIPPA guidelines.
  • Initial point of contact for escalated patient concerns.
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of office equipment and facilities, order supplies and medications.

  • Prior direct patient care experience (nurse, etc.) and previous management experience with knowledge of healthcare practices (insurance reimbursement, billing, credentialing, etc.)
  • The ability to assist with development and implementation of strategies for business growth, marketing, and optimization of the practice financially
  • Thorough understanding of HIPPA regulations and requirements
  • Familiarity with an Electronic Medical Record system
  • Proven organizational and leadership skills with solid references from previous employers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
