The Online Program Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing and executing the marketing strategy for Baruch Online, a new unit focused on delivering innovative online programs. Reporting to the Associate Provost of Pedagogy and Online Programs, this position will collaborate with program leadership, the Office of Communications, Marketing, and Public Affairs (OCMPA), and CUNY Central marketing teams to drive online program enrollment and achieve strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for Baruch Online, aligning with the overall goals of the unit and the College.
- Program Collaboration: Work closely with program leadership to understand their unique needs and develop targeted marketing campaigns.
- Cross-Departmental Partnership: Collaborate with the Office of Communications, Marketing, and Public Affairs to ensure consistent messaging and effective marketing efforts.
- Enrollment Goals: Drive online program enrollment by developing and executing effective marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of full-time, part-time, and student staff responsible for top-of-the-funnel marketing and recruitment.
- Collaboration: Foster collaboration between schools, Baruch Online, and CUNY Central marketing teams to ensure efficient and effective marketing efforts.
- Develop Effective Organic Traffic Content: Ensure that Baruch websites and Baruch social media content engage and capture organic traffic.
- Advertising: Plan and execute advertising campaigns in partnership with program stakeholders to maximize reach and impact. Work with external vendors as necessary to meet advertising goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and six years’ related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on higher education or online programs.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with a proven track record of success in driving enrollment.
- Experience managing teams and projects, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in higher education marketing, particularly in online program development and promotion.
- Familiarity with CUNY's marketing guidelines and processes.
- Experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.

- Develops advertising programs consistent within overall marketing plans to achieve image, awareness and/or enrollment goals
- Implements programs in print, radio, broadcasting, mail, and electronic communications, coordinating with internal units and external service providers
- Actively manages and moderates electronic content and marketing tools for both College and external web sites and sources, including social networks, video portals, and listservs
- Develops, tracks, and reports on both advertising costs (budgets) and results to assure goals are met; collects and analyzes data on exposure, traffic, and other metrics
- May supervise staff and external service providers
- Performs related duties as assigned.

$93,491- $104,057;Salary commensurate with education and experience.
