SHORT DESCRIPTION

Red Horse Market is seeking an Operations Generalist to assist with grocery store operations by providing technology, operational, administrative, and marketing support to enhance overall efficiency.

Red Horse Market is hiring an Operations Generalist to assist with various aspects of Grocery Store Operations. As an Operations Generalist Assistant, you will work closely with the CEO, Project Manager, administrative colleagues, and external parties to support smooth operations and execute tasks in the following areas: technology management, marketing campaigns execution, collateral creation, sourcing/buying product, inventory data support, training documentation, filing to help all departments run more effectively and accurately.

25% Technology Support:

  • Collaborate on implementing and launching tools for operational efficiency.
  • Maintain software data accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT vendors.

25% Operational Support:

  • Develop and maintain organized systems for documentation and resource management.
  • Support store manager with inventory tracking, driving accuracy and timeliness.

25% Administrative Assistance:

  • Maintain the operational calendar, schedule meetings for contract renewals.
  • Assist in drafting presentations, correspondence, expense reporting, archiving
  • Manage communications with 3rd parties.

25% Marketing Assistance:

  • Create daily to seasonal marketing content (email marketing, social media, direct mail)
  • Assist in content creation and distribution on the sales floor.
  • Coordinate events, execute displays, drive taste testing for reviews.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in software with relevant tools (HR, payment processing, billing, marketing)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, excellent time-management, skills
  • Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with grocery or retail operations.
  • 70% East Hampton, 30% Southampton location
  • Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
