Job Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of MSA Outreach Coordinators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor team progress.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members.

Strategic Planning & Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive outreach strategy for Eye Health America, including budget allocation and marketing plans.
  • Set measurable goals and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach campaigns.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target audiences and outreach opportunities.

Referrals & Relationship Management:

  • Oversee the cultivation and maintenance of strong relationships with referring optometrists (ODs), primary care physicians and other healthcare providers and networks.
  • Actively participate while guiding the team in conducting regular outreach visits to OD offices (minimum 6 existing and 2 prospective per week Note: this needs to be validated).
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between referring practices and MSA partner practices of Eye Health America.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase referrals, track referrals monthly, and analyze referral patterns.
  • Provide ongoing support and education to referring practices and the outreach team on reimbursement and compliance issues.
Outreach Program Development & Execution:
  • Oversee the development and execution of all outreach programs, including continuing education events, community health fairs, and patient education initiatives.
  • Guide the team in scheduling and participating in community events.
  • Develop and manage the speaker's bureau, scheduling presentations for community groups and other events.
  • Fundraise for these events with industry for financial support.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on outreach activities, referral trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Marketing Director and Regional Directors of Operations.
  • Maintain a database of referring practices, including key contact information and referral patterns.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department and other stakeholders to ensure effective utilization & distribution of outreach materials.

Administration & Support:

  • Provide administrative support as required by the VP of Marketing.
  • Ensure internal marketing of services through collateral is updated and implemented both internally and externally.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in healthcare marketing, outreach, and team leadership.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced degree (BS or BA) from an accredited college or university, preferably in marketing
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Fact finder, follow through, independent worker, goal oriented
  • At least 2 years’ experience in administration
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and related programs
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Effective organization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Follows-up on outstanding items promptly.
  • Experience using marketing data base systems
  • Experience developing and track organizational strategic plans
  • Present a highly professional image within the community
