SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a performance marketer to grow Paperless Post's paid search program and enhance user acquisition through effective campaign management and data-driven strategies.
Paperless Post is seeking a talented and driven performance marketer with a passion for paid search to help grow our paid marketing program and accelerate new user acquisition growth. As a Paid Search Campaign Manager, you will work closely with team members on our Growth Marketing team to manage and optimize substantial paid search investments as well as monitor performance and cost efficiency metrics across Google and Microsoft platforms. The ideal candidate is data driven, eager to advance our executions and ways of working, challenge the status quo, and implement organization & automation across the team.
This is a hybrid position based in our New York City office and will report to the Senior Manager, Paid Marketing.
What you'll do here:
- Own day-to-day campaign and bid management of paid search (brand & non-brand), demand gen and display campaigns across Google and Microsoft
- Own end-to-end campaign management, including bulk ad & ad copy creation, keyword research/harvesting, competitive research, bid optimization, A/B Testing etc.
- Organize and regularly audit account-wide paid search shared library such as shared negative keyword list, ad creative library, assets & extension lists, placement targeting lists, and location groups
- Develop and update reports and insights on paid search campaign performance for internal collaborators and larger Paperless Post marketing team.
- Track and monitor reporting of Google and Microsoft campaign results on daily/weekly/quarterly/yearly basis, including Quarterly Business Reviews & End of Year analysis
- Frequently monitor key performance indicators and budget progress.
- Routinely analyze campaigns to identify areas of opportunity; drive performance, and objective-based optimizations in partnership with Paid Marketing team members.
- Develop and optimize bidding models, using advanced ad tech platforms such as SA360 or Google Analytics effectively
- Share paid search keyword trends with marketing and content teams to integrate seasonal trending search behavior into larger growth opportunities.
Must Haves:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing paid search (SEM/PPC) accounts from either agency or in-house ecommerce roles
- Experience with tactical campaign management, including search campaign creation, keyword processes, bid optimization, bulk editing, etc.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360 or any other bid and budget management platform (experience in GA4/Google Analytics is a strong plus)
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with detail-oriented approach to organizing/updating report structures and/or large datasets
- Eager to analyze data and build quantitative and qualitative skills to derive actionable insights/storytelling with context
- Enjoy and embrace finding new ways to work and improve team efficiency, without being tied to rigid processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with both internal and external partners
- Curious, positive, and collaborative and excited to be a part of a growing team, in a fun environment

The compensation range for this role is $68,000 - $80,000 USD.
At Paperless Post, compensation is based on a number of factors, including geographic location, job-related skills, years of experience, and internal team banding. All full-time offer packages come with a base salary, equity component, and options for fully paid medical, dental, and vision benefits. The range posted here is based on the NYC market and may vary based on candidate location.
