Walker Sands is seeking a Paid Media Specialist to help support our clients' paid media advertising and marketing programs. To be successful in this role, you should have an analytical mindset and a desire to learn more about the paid media space.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and management of large-scale, performance-based paid media campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain keyword and audience bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, client interest groups, targeted lists, and other applicable social media platform data in accordance with account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, engagement rates, and other important account metrics.
  • Conduct keyword research as input to our clients' paid media programs.
  • Write effective ad copy for paid media ads.
  • Assist with regular reporting and provide recommendations to paid media account leads and clients based on paid media program results.
  • Help develop audiences for prospecting, remarketing, and paid social campaigns.
  • Recommend negative keywords and placements through search term reports and placement report audits.
  • Budget pace client accounts.
  • Understand client target audience, their business, and fundamentals of advertising platforms (Google Ads, Paid Social).
  • Provide strategic recommendations to paid leads for paid social and display campaigns, and facilitate creation with an internal team or client as needed.
  • Optimize campaigns based on budget, lead generation, and brand awareness goals, cost-per-action targets, and other parameters that the paid leads or clients specify.
  • Work internally and within clients' external project management systems to complete tasks.
  • Keep up-to-date with paid media advertising and marketing industry trends and developments and share learnings with the paid media team.

Qualifications

  • Candidates with prior paid media internship or Google Ads, paid social or similar experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated individual with a passion for marketing, advertising and campaign management.
  • Knowledge of SEM best practices is preferred.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including intermediate formulas (e.g. vlookup).
  • Google Ads Certification, knowledge of web analytics and experience with conversion rate optimization are a plus.
