ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Partnerships Specialist will serve an integral role in supporting the Sr. Partnerships Manager to optimize and improve the affiliate, influencer, athlete, and community partnerships, ensuring they align with company goals to drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. This role requires an organized, strategic thinker capable of supporting and growing impactful relationships while addressing operational challenges, ensuring timely communication and support for partners, and implementing initiatives to strengthen trust and collaboration.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Affiliate Management:
- Assist with communication and relationship management with ~250 affiliates.
- Handle daily administrative tasks, including processing applications, managing commissions, resolving inquiries, assisting with product orders, and Affiliate inbox management.
- Oversee the affiliate newsletter. Work closely with Sr. Partnerships Manager and product/marketing teams to ensure timely updates regarding campaigns, sales, and new product launches
- Work alongside Sr. Partnerships manager to develop and execute trust-building initiatives, such as consistent communication, product seeding program and a gifting program.
- Work alongside Sr. Partnerships Manager to design innovative campaigns to empower affiliates to promote the brand more effectively.
Influencer & Athlete Management:
- Assist Sr. Partnerships Manager with maintaining relationships with ~35-40 influencers/athletes/ambassadors, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
- Assist Sr. Partnerships Manager with Coordinating onboarding processes, including contract and term sheet generation, deliverable tracking, and product seeding.
- Work closely with Social Media Coordinator to manage and organize inbound partnership inquiries on Instagram.
- Community Partnerships:
- Assist with managing and supporting a portfolio of 6-10 community partnerships, ensuring appropriate brand exposure.
- Support community-driven initiatives that enhance brand presence
- Collaborate with community partners to create mutually beneficial campaigns and events.
- Manage inbound community partnership inquiries.
Event Partnerships:
- Assist with the execution of ~3 major annual events, including sponsorship coordination, partner integration, brand activation and deliverable management.
- Assist with planning, product orders, logistics, and communication for events.
- Work with Sr. Partnerships Manager and Events Manager to align events with marketing and partnership goals.
General Operational/Administrative Support:
- Assist with tools and software such as Post Affiliate Pro, Shopify, NetSuite and influencer management software.
- Maintain and organize a centralized repository for contracts, term sheets, and partnership documentation using tools such as SharePoint or similar platforms.
- Ensure proper filing, version control, and accessibility of all partnership agreements and documents.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, both internal and external, to support partnership initiatives.
- Manage and track deliverables across partnerships, ensuring timely completion and alignment with strategic goals.
- Handle general administrative support tasks such as report generation, filing, and organizing partner communication.
- Support the onboarding of new partners by ensuring documentation, contracts, and assets are accurately prepared and shared.
Strategic Support:
- Assist Sr. Partnership Manager with design and execution of a long-term partnership roadmap that drives brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Work alongside Sr. Partnerships Manager and Sr. Social Media Manager to Analyze partnership performance data.
Communication & Trust-Building:
- Alongside Sr. Partnerships Manager, serve as a point of contact for all partnership-related inquiries and communications.
- Ensure partners receive timely support, updates, and responses to maintain trust and engagement.
- Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to identify areas for improvement and strengthen partner satisfaction.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Excellent knowledge of programs like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace for everyday tasks.
- Familiarity with email and team platforms like Outlook, Teams, or Zoom.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, databases, or other tools to manage information.
- Ability to research and use web-based tools effectively.
- Ability to learn job specific software (e.g. Monday, Post Affiliate Pro, Hoot Suite)
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Marketing, Business, or a related field; or minimum of 3-5 years of experience in partnership management, affiliate marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic partnerships, especially in the fitness, lifestyle or sports industries.
- Experience working with fitness equipment brands or in a similar industry.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale events and partnerships.
