Job Overview:

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual that will assist in ensuring our team and dogs are safe and having fun as a Pet Parent Relationship Manager. As the PPRM, you will play a vital role in promoting our pet care services and engaging with our community of pet parents. You will manage our social media presence, conduct Meet & Greets, coordinate events, assist with front desk and back of house, and maintain communication with pet parents, all while ensuring that our marketing efforts effectively attract and retain customers. The Pet Parent Relationship Manager will report to the General Manager for all responsibilities and duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Duties:
- Conduct Meet & Greets with pet parents and their dogs, building rapport by utilizing personal notes from the App Dashboard.
- Give tailored tours to pet parents, discuss enrollment plans and encourage on-the-spot sign-ups.
- Post 3-5 times weekly on Facebook and Instagram, utilizing daily stories to engage followers.
- Make Tiktoks, keeping up with current trends
- Hnadle treat days from purchasing, making them, and taking pictures/videos for posts
- Monitor and respond to Google reviews to maintain a positive online presence.
- Plan and execute 2-3 creative events per week (e.g., treat days, photo parties, themed events).
- Create and distribute a monthly newsletter featuring an event calendar and detailed descriptions.
- Manage the "Dog of the Week" feature, including weekly uploads to the website and social media promotion.
- Organize and run monthly photo parties, ensuring all logistics are handled, from props to photo editing.
- Facilitate front desk operations by greeting pet parents, handling inquiries, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
- Support back-of-house operations by assisting with inventory management, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all marketing supplies are stocked and organized for efficient service delivery.
Platform Management:
- Use Constant Contact, Reshift Media, Google My Business, and various social media platforms to enhance marketing efforts.
- Regularly review ad performance and adjust strategies accordingly for maximum effectiveness.
- Utilize WordPress for website updates and manage content for timely releases.
Communication:
- Maintain consistent communication with pet parents via email and social media.
- Participate in weekly management meetings, presenting marketing reports and discussing upcoming events.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to engage with customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with experience in event planning and marketing.
- Familiar with using digital marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Google My Business, Constant Contact).
- Passion for pets and understanding of pet care services.
- Paid training will be provided upon hire.
