We are looking for a motivated and experienced Physician Relations - Network Manager to join our team. This role involves 25% weekly travel to meet with referral sources and build strong, collaborative relationships.


Position Overview:
At IntraCare, you’ll play a key role in developing and managing a high-quality provider network. You will be supporting the end-to-end process of building and maintaining a high-quality network. You’ll contribute to the network’s growth, resolve provider issues as needed, and handle the daily operations of our network. A successful provider network is essential to our overall success, and we focus on cultivating trust and transparency with our providers.

In this valued role, you’ll gain exposure to various aspects of network management, including recruitment strategy, special projects, and collaborating with providers on performance improvement initiatives. This external-facing position will allow you to fully understand and communicate IntraCare’s value proposition to our provider partners. You will report directly to the Associate VP Value Based Care.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for the development and enhancement of network relationships through onboarding, business interactions, and outreach.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to deliver education, training, and information on IntraCare products and strategy.
  • Oversight and accountability of all provider data management functionality to include roster management, data validation and management, special projects, and gap/expansion strategy.
  • Communicate our brand, values, and differentiators effectively and accurately.
  • Maintain strict privacy and confidentiality in accordance with IntraCare’s security standards.
  • Serve as a communication link between providers and IntraCare as the main point of contact for assigned provider groups.
  • Respond to and resolve provider issues in an efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular meetings with leadership informing them of progress, roadblocks, suggestions for a change in strategy.
  • Lead contract negotiations assigned.
  • Assist with provider credentialing needs.
  • Lead special network projects as assigned.
  • Proactively elicit provider feedback to help enhance their overall Plan experience.
  • Continuously work to understand the market and provider needs to improve the overall strategic plan.
  • This role assists in developing the strategic direction and management of the day-to-day contracting and network management activities.
  • Builds relationships that nurture provider partnerships and seeks broader value-based business opportunities to support the local market strategy.
  • Manages strategic positioning for provider contracting, develops networks and identifies opportunities for greater value-orientation and risk arrangements.
  • Help to manage initiatives that improve total medical cost and quality.
  • Drives change with external provider partners by assessing clinical informatics and offering consultative expertise to assist with total medical cost initiatives.
  • Leads to resolve elevated and complex provider service complaints. Researches problems and negotiates with internal/external partners/customers to resolve highly complex and/or escalated issues.
  • Drive referral growth by identifying opportunities for expansion and coordinating with the leadership team to review data, strategies, and outcomes.
  • Develop and execute outreach plans, managing progress from development to execution, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Support and organize events such as health fairs and conferences to nurture referral relationships and enhance the organization's reputation, occasionally involving weekend commitments.
  • Work closely with internal marketing teams to create and maintain relevant outreach materials.
  • Maintain detailed activity reports, tracking key interactions and measuring the impact of marketing activities.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote our services in both Dallas using digital platforms, social media, email marketing, and print materials.
  • Stay current with industry developments and competitor activities, adjusting marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and marketing guidelines.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Suite and other collaborative tools.
  • Effectively communicate needs, process improvements, and wins with your network team and C-Suite officers.
  • Excellent written, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Creative, strategic, and continuously striving for improvement.
  • Ability to present information to audiences of various skill levels.
  • Flexible and able to ramp up quickly on different projects to support the team as needed in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Strong organization skills to sift through large amounts of data to gain insight into members and markets.
  • Experience in client-facing negotiating roles, and/or in start-ups, tech, healthcare, or insurance is a plus.
  • Experience with healthcare operations is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, healthcare operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in healthcare marketing is highly preferred.
  • Proven success in field marketing, ideally within healthcare practices.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and experience developing effective campaigns.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare services is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and using insights to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Willingness to attend evening or weekend events.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; travel 25% is required 2-3 days a week.
  • Experience in building relationships with community-based physicians is preferred.
  • All other duties as assigned
