SHORT DESCRIPTION

Join our Marketing team as a Photographer to produce engaging imagery and video content for online platforms, collaborating with a skilled team in a creative and dynamic studio environment.

We’re hiring a Portrait Photographer to work within our in-house studio team. You will join an established team and be working alongside a team of highly experienced producers, videographers, creatives and marketing professionals.

About the role:

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will be shooting and editing lifestyle imagery for all our online platforms. You will plan, shoot and edit all seasonal store promotions, colour correcting against physical prints to ensure products are true to life. Further to this, you will be involved in 360 product photography for our website and carry out a range of other ad-hoc photographic duties.

About you:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our growing Marketing team on a permanent, full time basis. As Photographer, you will have a keen interest in photography, from initial concept planning to shooting finalized ideas. Good communication and organizational skills will be the key to success in our fast-faced, friendly, and hardworking team. Ideally with a relevant qualification or experience and an in-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with researchers and writers to develop and produce engaging video content.
Operate video equipment to capture high-quality footage.
Maintain video equipment and manage media assets.
Plan and execute video shoots, including setup of lighting, audio, and camera equipment.
Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software.
Editing imagery to remove backgrounds, change colors, manipulate layers and general retouching.
Resizing images into a range of different sizes for use across various Digital Marketing channels.
Lead by example in terms of passion, commitment, productivity and positivity.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and audio setup.
A creative mindset with an eye for detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Good communication skills – written and verbal in English Language.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
Have a strong level of photographic knowledge.
Proven success working collaboratively in a fast-paced industry.
Proven experience as a videographer or similar role.

Education:

A degree or diploma in Media, Film Production, or a related field (preferred)

Photographer Requirements:

Experience with Capture One or Lightroom.
Proficiency in Photoshop is essential.
Familiarity with Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of studio lighting and the ability to set up lighting as per briefs.
Experience in e-commerce photography is a distinct advantage.
