QUALIFICATIONS

Recent college graduate with a genuine interest in technology and tech companies, strong writing and editing skills, ability to navigate social media, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking abilities. Background in PR, journalism, political campaigns, or marketing is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend client meetings, compile media coverage reports, research reporters and social media, draft pitches and press materials, conduct customer interviews, write press releases and blog posts, manage social media, and perform advanced measurement and reporting.

Highwire is seeking enthusiastic interns for a six-month paid internship in tech PR, providing hands-on experience and mentorship with opportunities for full-time employment for standout candidates.

Responsibilities Include

Attending client meetings and the art of the action item
Compiling media coverage into client facing clip reports
Researching reporters, blogs and social media sites
Trend research
Drafting pitches and press materials
Conducting customer interviews
Writing press releases and blog posts
Social media
Advanced measurement and reporting

Requirements

College graduate
A genuine interest in technology and tech companies
An enthusiastic self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude
An eye for detail and an ability to multi-task
Strong writing and editing skills
Ability to navigate and master social media and social networking sites
A background and/or experience in PR, journalism, English, political campaigns, technology and/or marketing is preferred
