PR Manager, Fashion & Lifestyle and Corporate Communications – New York, NY (Hybrid)

The PR Manager for the Fashion & Lifestyle and Corporate Communications divisions is a key member of the PR team with a strong interest in fashion, culture, current events, new media, and entertainment. This individual should be highly organized, possess strong media pitching skills and have a comprehensive understanding of the media landscape.


The ideal candidate excels at managing multiple deadlines, working across various brands, and balancing distinct focuses and product categories. They are skilled at crafting messaging that aligns with each brand’s unique identity, seamlessly switching between different tones of voice, and delivering storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences. Collaboration and the ability to support Corporate Communications initiatives—such as internal messaging, corporate positioning, and cross-functional teamwork—are essential qualities for success in this role. Success in this role demands a blend of creativity, adaptability, and teamwork to support both external brand communications and internal organizational goals

Key Responsibilities


  • Support global PR campaigns and initiatives across fashion & lifestyle brands, including Ben Sherman, BCBG Group, Bruno Magli, Maternity, Totes & Isotoner.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with global, national and regional editors across fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, trade and consumer sectors, as well as with stylists and publicists.
  • Manage media inquiries and sample trafficking between global brand partners, media, stylists, and PR agency partners for editorial placements, styling, and gifting initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global market teams to ensure brand strategies and product pushes are aligned with planned PR communications calendar.
  • Develop tailored pitch lists for Corporate and Fashion & Lifestyle PR campaigns and initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
  • Contribute to team-wide PR efforts, including launches, events, strategy sessions, press days, and partnerships, while brainstorming creative ideas.
  • Support in the development of compelling seasonal press stories and pitches, to align with overarching brand calendars.
  • Track up-and-coming VIPs, digital trends, and key industry opportunities for celebrity dressing and events.
  • Collaborate with the internal Brand Marketing Team and agency partners to develop and implement brand narratives across consumer channels.
  • Manage PR-related invoicing, expense tracking and budget management.
  • Oversee media monitoring, daily coverage tracking, and compile monthly reports.
  • Stay informed on industry news, trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Oversee brand showrooms and manage seasonal product coordination for global agency teams and partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required
  • 4+ years of relevant public relations experience in the fashion industry, preferably a combination of agency and in-house roles
  • Experience working alongside C-Suite executives
  • Strong relationships with consumer, fashion and lifestyle press
  • Excellent communication, writing, project management, presentation, cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Muck Rack, Cision, Meltwater
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and Canva

Salary $70,000-$80,000 + bonus
