QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or similar studies preferred, with a minimum of three years of managerial experience in a healthcare service organization. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills required. Knowledge of medical terminology, billing systems, and healthcare marketing is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Non-Surgical Orthopaedics seeks a Practice Administrator to manage daily operations in a growing interventional pain clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
- Plan, organize, and direct the daily operational activities of the practice. Monitoring and implementing change of efficiency to optimize resources, productivity, and patient experience.
- Evaluate general and specific business conditions as they relate to operational issues and advise the Director of Operations on the matters; providing optional solutions to address the matters at hand.
- Participate in the evolution and refinement of quality improvement processes, enhancing operational effectiveness with an emphasis on high-quality patient care.
- Provide oversight of provider schedules for optimization of productivity, time management and patient care.
- Provide supervision to clinical and non-clinical personnel.
- Serve as a key problem-solving resource for provider, staff and patient issues.
- Responsible for recruitment and first interviews in hiring new staff, onboarding employees, and resolving personnel conflicts in accordance with the organization’s Human Resources guidelines.
- Provide training and coaching to clinical and non-clinical personnel on key job responsibilities while fostering strong working relationships built on ongoing communication and trust.
- Assist with time and attendance and some payroll functions for timely record keeping submission for processing.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to the organization’s structure, management philosophy, mission, and values.
- Act as a resource on handling inquires, complaints or physician dissatisfaction. Providing employee coaching as necessary.
- Collaborate with in developing, supporting, and executing field marketing activities. Additional collaborations include monitoring the patient experience for areas of celebration and improvement opportunities.
- Serve as a liaison between Non-Surgical Orthopaedics and the referring partners, ensuring relationship and patient satisfaction.
- Follow all clinic policies on safety and security, safeguarding and maintaining all restricted areas.
- Ensure all day’s end procedures are completed, including collection, and balancing of monies.
- Collaborate with third party billing personnel to ensure clinical and procedure records are properly completed for submittal. Review reasons of claim denial for resolution.
- Collaborate with Compliance Director ensuring compliant practices in accordance with federal and state regulation and healthcare program requirements.
- Collaborate with Informational Technology and Electronic Medical Records Specialist on electronic practice management and electronic health record issues, enhancements, and maintenance upgrades.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or similar studies preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of managerial experience in a healthcare service organization; preferably in physician practice or hospital management.
- Knowledge and familiarity of medical terminology.
- Knowledge and familiarity of billing systems and insurance operations.
- Knowledge and familiarity in healthcare marketing and sales.
- Prior knowledge and use of NextGen EPM a plus.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
- Be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Strong PC skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Skills to manage stress in order to maintain a professional atmosphere and provide quality service.
- Regular, dependable, and reliable attendance.
