SHORT DESCRIPTION

As a Presentation Designer, you'll develop brand-oriented materials for FSG aimed at enhancing sales efforts and partnership proposals, ensuring brand consistency across all presentations and marketing materials.

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Creative Services group within Fenway Sports Management oversees and develops innovative partnership presentation materials for all Fenway Sports Group owned and operated properties, as well 3rd party representation. The creative group aims to elevate visuals and narratives surrounding all produced materials, including decks, design, video and multimedia.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Presentation Designer for FSM leads the charge on developing FSG team brand oriented templates and materials for purposes of selling team brand identity and prospective partnership proposals. This designer will develop FSG property focused presentation templates in order for our creative and solutions teams to update and customize for specific brand partnerships. This designer will be responsible for understanding the various brand directions of all FSG properties, and ensuring brand consistency is upheld and applied on baseline templates. The designer will also be responsible for bespoke brand application when applicable, envisioning partnership between the property and prospective brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create visually appealing and impactful presentations that showcase FSG’s properties (Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Penguins, Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing, Liverpool FC, LPGA, Boston Common Golf, PGA TOUR, LRMR, MGM Music Hall, NESN), property platforms, and sales efforts to clients interested in partnerships within the FSG family
  • Design and deliver high quality creative pieces such as sales and sponsorship presentations, various print and digital marketing materials, social media assets, logo design, and large-scale event signage
  • Translate complex information and statistics into highly-visual presentation slides and infographics that demonstrate property and partner narrative, creative balance, and brand creative direction
  • Bring fresh ideas for modern and innovative information design
  • Stay current with design, multimedia, and presentation trends / presentation software to improve the quality of presentations

CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of relevant agency or sports team design experience required
  • Bachelors degree in Art, Design, or similar field strongly preferred
  • Portfolio with proven experience required
  • Detail oriented with an understanding of FSG’s properties and missions
  • Enjoy working in an extremely fast paced and design-driven environment
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign required
  • Understanding of sports sales and sponsorship strategy, business development and global marketing
  • Talented multi-tasker, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with various deadlines
  • Ability to design renderings and mock-ups of venues and spaces, vehicles, signage, etc. for prospective partners in Adobe Photoshop
  • Flexible designer, able to switch projects and pace, and is able to function as a designer across multiple FSG properties at once
  • Experience with SalesForce preferred
  • Video, animation, and motion graphic skills preferred
  • Experience in Canva preferred
